أثارت جريمة مروعة في مدينة ساو باولو البرازيلية صدمة واسعة بعد أن أقدم رجل على دهس شابة وسحلها بسيارته لمسافة تتجاوز كيلومتر، قبل أن يغادر المكان ويخفي سيارته عن الأنظار.

وقال المشتبه به دوغلاس ألفيش دا سيلفا (26 عاماً) في التحقيقات إنه لا يعرف الضحية تاينارا سوزا سانتوس (31 عاماً) نافياً أي علاقة سابقة معها، رغم التكهنات على منصات التواصل بأن الدافع قد يكون الغيرة أو الانتقام.

وأوضحت الشرطة أن دوغلاس حاول «اختلاق رواية» للهروب من المسؤولية، فاتصل بعائلته فور مغادرته مكان الحادثة، ثم أُرشد لاحقاً من قبل محاميه لإخفاء السيارة من نوع «غولف» سوداء في منزل والد زوجته السابقة بمنطقة إيتايم باوليستا.

وعند اعتقاله داخل فندق في «فيلا برودنتي»، حاول دوغلاس مقاومة رجال الشرطة وهاجم أحدهم في محاولة للاستيلاء على سلاحه، ما اضطر المحقق لإطلاق طلقة أصابته في الذراع قبل السيطرة عليه ونقله إلى مستشفى «فيلا ألبينا»، ثم إلى وحدة مكافحة الجريمة المنظمة.

وبحوزة دوغلاس عُثر على مبلغ 2300 ريال برازيلي (نحو 460 دولاراً) قال إنه مخصص لدفع أتعاب محامٍ، إلا أن السلطات تحقق في مصدر الأموال، وسط مخاوف من تحركاته المحتملة للهرب إلى ولاية «سيارا».

وأكد شهود محليون أن المتهم يتمتع بتاريخ من السلوك العدواني، ما يعزز فرضية العنف المستمر كجزء من شخصيته.

A horrific crime in the Brazilian city of São Paulo has sparked widespread shock after a man ran over a young woman and dragged her with his car for over a kilometer, before leaving the scene and hiding his vehicle from sight.

The suspect, Douglas Alves da Silva (26 years old), stated in the investigations that he does not know the victim, Tayara Souza Santos (31 years old), denying any previous relationship with her, despite speculation on social media that the motive could be jealousy or revenge.

The police clarified that Douglas attempted to “fabricate a story” to escape responsibility, as he contacted his family immediately after leaving the scene of the incident, and was later advised by his lawyer to hide the black “Golf” car at his ex-wife’s father’s house in the Itaim Paulista area.

Upon his arrest inside a hotel in “Vila Prudente,” Douglas tried to resist the police and attacked one of them in an attempt to seize his weapon, which forced the investigator to fire a shot that hit him in the arm before they managed to control him and transfer him to “Vila Albina” hospital, and then to the organized crime unit.

Douglas was found in possession of 2,300 Brazilian reais (about 460 dollars), which he claimed was intended to pay a lawyer’s fees, but authorities are investigating the source of the funds, amid concerns about his potential movements to flee to the state of “Ceará.”

Local witnesses confirmed that the accused has a history of aggressive behavior, which reinforces the hypothesis of ongoing violence as part of his personality.
