يواجه نادي ليفربول الإنجليزي خطر فقدان نجمه المصري محمد صلاح لـ7 مباريات، بسبب مشاركته مع منتخب مصر في كأس الأمم الأفريقية التي ستقام في المغرب خلال الفترة من 21 ديسمبر الجاري حتى 18 يناير القادم.
وكان صلاح قد جلس على مقاعد البدلاء في مباراة الفريق الأخيرة أمام وست هام، فيما أكد المدرب آرني سلوت أن اللاعب سينضم لمعسكر المنتخب في 15 ديسمبر، ما يعني أن آخر مبارياته قبل البطولة ستكون أمام برايتون في 13 ديسمبر.
مدة الغياب قد تمتد إلى ما بعد 19 يناير
وبحسب شبكة «بي بي سي»، فإنه في حال بلوغ المنتخب المصري المباراة النهائية، ستتأخر عودة صلاح إلى 19 يناير على أقرب تقدير، وهو ما يضع الفريق في موقف صعب خلال فترة مزدحمة بالمباريات.
هذا الغياب قد يحرم ليفربول من خدمات هدافه في 7 مباريات، أبرزها مواجهة آرسنال 8 يناير، إلى جانب مباريات أخرى مهمة في سباق الدوري الإنجليزي.
رد فعل صلاح وموقف المدرب سلوت
ورغم رفض سلوت الإفصاح عمّا إذا كان سيمنح صلاح وقت لعب إضافيا قبل البطولة، أقر المدرب بأن الجناح المصري شعر بخيبة أمل لجلوسه على مقاعد البدلاء أمام وست هام.
لكن سلوت أكد أن صلاح تعامل مع القرار بـ«احترافية كاملة»، مشيرا إلى ثقته في قدرة اللاعب على مواصلة مسيرته المميزة مع الفريق.

According to the BBC, if the Egyptian national team reaches the final match, Salah’s return could be delayed until January 19 at the earliest, putting the team in a difficult position during a busy period of matches.
This absence could deprive Liverpool of their top scorer’s services in 7 matches, most notably the clash against Arsenal on January 8, along with other important matches in the English league race.
Salah’s reaction and Coach Slot’s stance
Although Slot refused to disclose whether he would give Salah extra playing time before the tournament, the coach acknowledged that the Egyptian winger felt disappointed sitting on the bench against West Ham.
However, Slot confirmed that Salah handled the decision with “complete professionalism,” indicating his confidence in the player’s ability to continue his remarkable journey with the team.
