ممرضة تموت حرقاً داخل مستشفى.. وتونس تغلي غضباً – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

شهدت تونس موجة غضب واسعة بعد وفاة الممرضة أزهار بن حميدة، التي فارقت الحياة متأثرة بحروق أثناء مناوبتها الليلية في المستشفى المحلي بالرديف، في حادثة وصفتها نقابات الصحة بـ«جريمة إدارية ومهنية مكتملة الأركان».

وأكدت التنسيقية الوطنية لإطارات وأعوان الصحة في بيان لها عبر «فيسبوك» أن الفاجعة تكشف «غياب بيئة عمل آمنة» داخل المستشفيات، وافتقار الأجهزة الطبية إلى شروط السلامة المهنية الأساسية، مثل أجهزة الإنذار المبكر وكواشف الحروق والصيانة الدورية للتجهيزات الحيوية.

كما حمّلت التنسيقية كل من قصّر أو تغاضى عن مسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية كامل المسؤولية، مؤكدة رفضها أي محاولة لتبرير الحادثة أو التقليل من خطورتها.

من جهتها، عبرت الجامعة العامة للصحة عن أسفها الشديد لوفاة أزهار، مشيرة إلى أن توزيع العمل في المستشفيات يفتقر للعدالة وأن غياب الحوار الاجتماعي والوسائل الضرورية لحماية الأعوان يجعل حياة الموظفين اليومية معرضة للخطر.

أما المنتدى التونسي للحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية فقد وصف الحادثة بـ«إهمال وضحية جديدة لمنظومة صحية منهارة»، مطالبًا بفتح تحقيق مستقل وشامل مع محاسبة المسؤولين الحقيقيين دون أي سياسة «أكباش فداء».

وأعادت الحادثة إلى الواجهة تساؤلات حول سلامة العاملين في القطاع الصحي، في وقت يطالب فيه المجتمع المدني والنقابات بسن إجراءات عاجلة لضمان عدم تكرار هذه المآسي، وحماية حياة الممرضين والممرضات الذين يقفون على الخطوط الأمامية لخدمة المجتمع.

Tunisia witnessed a widespread wave of anger following the death of nurse Azhar Ben Hamida, who passed away due to burns sustained during her night shift at the local hospital in Redif, in an incident described by health unions as a “complete administrative and professional crime.”

The National Coordination of Health Executives and Workers confirmed in a statement via “Facebook” that the tragedy reveals a “lack of a safe working environment” within hospitals, and a deficiency in medical equipment regarding basic occupational safety standards, such as early warning systems, burn detectors, and regular maintenance of vital equipment.

The coordination also held accountable anyone who has neglected or overlooked their legal and ethical responsibilities, emphasizing its rejection of any attempts to justify the incident or downplay its seriousness.

For its part, the General Health Union expressed its deep sorrow over Azhar’s death, noting that the distribution of work in hospitals lacks fairness and that the absence of social dialogue and necessary means to protect workers puts employees’ daily lives at risk.

The Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights described the incident as “neglect and a new victim of a collapsing health system,” calling for an independent and comprehensive investigation with accountability for the real responsible parties without any “scapegoat” policies.

The incident has brought back questions about the safety of workers in the health sector, at a time when civil society and unions are demanding urgent measures to ensure that such tragedies do not recur, and to protect the lives of nurses who stand on the front lines serving the community.
