تعيش أميمة طالب اليوم أوج مراحلها الفنية، لا لأنها بلغت الذروة بصوتها وحده ودونما دعم حقيقي، بل بفضل الأغنية السعودية التي شكّلت – بكلماتها ولحنها ومواسمها ومبدعيها – هويتها الناجحة، إذ كانت المحرّك الحقيقي في تشكيل نجوميتها التي عرفها بها الجمهور.

فالنجاح الذي تبدو عليه الآن لم يُولد من فراغ، بل من تراكم تجارب ارتبطت مباشرة برموز الفن السعودي الذين منحوا صوتها ملامحه الأكثر رسوخاً.

منذ ألبومها الأول، بدا واضحاً أن أميمة اختارت أن تدخل عبر البوابة الأكثر صناعة للنجوم، وهي المدرسة السعودية في الغناء.

كما قدّم الموسيقار طلال رؤيته لألبوم «تذكر النسيان» بتجانس لافت، جعل صوتها يتحرك بسلاسة داخل جملة سعودية خالصة، لكن بملامح عصرية.

غير أن الجانب الأكثر تأثيراً في تشكيل حضورها لم يكن في الاستوديو فقط؛ بل في مواسم السعودية الفنية التي أعادت ترتيب الخريطة الغنائية في المنطقة. فمهرجانات جدة والرياض، وحياة الحفلات التي ازدهرت خلال السنوات الأخيرة، صنعت منصة ضخمة أتاحت لجمهور جديد أن يكتشف صوتها، ورسّخت ارتباطها بالمشهد السعودي من خلال أداء أعمالٍ تنتمي لرموز هذا الفن، لا لمجرد حضور عابر على المسرح.

ما حدث في مسيرة أميمة هو انتقال تدريجي من «موهبة تبحث عن فرص» إلى «صوت تشكله منظومة كاملة»؛ شاعر سعودي يمنحها اللغة، وملحن سعودي يمنحها الخط الموسيقي، ومواسم سعودية تمنحها الجمهور والانتشار.

بهذا المعنى، فإن نجاحها اليوم هو انعكاس مباشر لدور الأغنية السعودية ومبدعيها، أكثر من كونه نجاحاً فردياً. لقد وجدت أميمة في هذه البيئة الفنية المتحولة المساحة التي تعيد تشكيل ملامحها، وتمنحها هوية تتجاوز حدود المكان، لكنها لا تنفصل عن جذورها التي صنعتها.

It has been the true driving force behind her stardom that the audience recognizes her for.

The success she appears to have now did not come from nowhere; rather, it resulted from a accumulation of experiences directly linked to the icons of Saudi art who have given her voice its most profound features.

Since her first album, it was clear that Oumayma chose to enter through the most star-making gateway, which is the Saudi school of singing.

She did not rely on scattered experiences or fleeting songs, but entrusted her voice to Saudi art, with the composer Prince Bandar bin Fahd shaping her initial beginnings by composing the entire first work, and he personally wrote six essential texts: “I Differ,” “Every Lover,” “As for Me,” “The Assumption,” “Who Am I,” and “The Road.” This decision served as a precise direction for her compass, coinciding with texts from Saudi female and male poets, each of whom shaped a facet of the scene; such as the outlines of “Silence, Your Words,” and “The Argument,” while Khalid Al-Mubarak wrote “What Remains,” Mohammed Al-Qarni “I Love You,” and Hajar Asiri “No More.”

With this blend, a musical personality began to establish itself with clear roots in the modern heritage of Saudi song.

As she transitioned to a more mature phase, Oumayma entered another realm of identity-making through her collaboration with a composer like “Sahm,” who reintroduced her voice through works with a deeper musical sensibility, starting with “Your Wish” and “May I.”

Moreover, musician Talal presented his vision for the album “Remembering Forgetfulness” with a striking harmony, allowing her voice to move smoothly within a purely Saudi phrase, but with modern features.

However, the most impactful aspect of shaping her presence was not only in the studio; it was also in the artistic seasons of Saudi Arabia that rearranged the musical map of the region. The Jeddah and Riyadh festivals, along with the thriving concert scene in recent years, created a massive platform that allowed a new audience to discover her voice and solidified her connection to the Saudi scene through performing works belonging to the icons of this art, rather than merely having a fleeting presence on stage.

What happened in Oumayma’s journey is a gradual transition from “a talent seeking opportunities” to “a voice shaped by a complete system”; a Saudi poet providing her with the language, a Saudi composer offering her the musical line, and Saudi seasons granting her the audience and exposure.
