قررت الهيئة العامة للنقل، إبعاد «كداد» أجنبي لممارسته نشاط نقل الركاب دون ترخيص «الكدادة». وأهابت بالجميع بضرورة الالتزام بالأنظمة والتعليمات للمحافظة على سلامة الركاب وجودة الخدمة. وأكّدت عدم تهاونها مع أي تجاوز في هذا الشأن.

يشار إلى أن أنظمة النقل منعت ممارسة النشاط دون ترخيص في الطرق البرية وفرضت عقوبات تصل إلى 20,000 ريال وحجز المركبة حتى 60 يوماً، وقد تمتد إلى بيعها في مزاد علني، كما تمنع الأنظمة مناداة الركاب في المواقف العامة وملاحقتهم.

وطبقا للتعريف، فإن الكدادة تعني قيام أصحاب السيارات الخاصة نقل الركاب دون ترخيص نظامي، و«المناداة» أو البحث عن الركاب في أماكن التجمعات مثل المطارات ومواقف حافلات الطرق البرية.

وتواصل الفرق الرقابية جولاتها لمنع التجاوزات وضبط المخالفين لتعزيز التنافسية في قطاع النقل، والحد من الممارسات غير المشروعة التي تضر بجودة النقل وسلامة الركاب.

The General Transport Authority has decided to expel a foreign “Kaddad” for practicing passenger transport activities without a “Kaddada” license. It urged everyone to adhere to the regulations and instructions to ensure the safety of passengers and the quality of service. It confirmed that it will not tolerate any violations in this regard.

It is noted that transport regulations prohibit practicing activities without a license on land routes and impose penalties of up to 20,000 riyals and vehicle impoundment for up to 60 days, which may extend to public auction. The regulations also prohibit soliciting passengers in public places and pursuing them.

According to the definition, “Kaddada” refers to private vehicle owners transporting passengers without a legal license, and “soliciting” or searching for passengers in gathering places such as airports and land bus stops.

The monitoring teams continue their rounds to prevent violations and apprehend offenders to enhance competitiveness in the transport sector and limit illegal practices that harm the quality of transport and the safety of passengers.
