أكد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أن المواجهة العسكرية مع إيران قد تستمر خلال الأسابيع الأربعة القادمة على الأرجح، مشيراً إلى أن الخطط الموضوعة منذ البداية كانت تقوم على عملية تمتد لنحو شهر.
وقال ترمب إن التقديرات العسكرية كانت تتوقع أن تستغرق العملية «أربعة أسابيع أو نحو ذلك»، مضيفاً أنه لا يزال منفتحاً على إجراء محادثات إضافية مع الجانب الإيراني، من دون أن يحدد موعداً محتملاً لأي لقاءات قريبة.
ووصف العملية الجارية بأنها من أعقد العمليات الهجومية عسكرياً.
«سيناريو فنزويلا»..
واعتبر ترمب أن ما قامت به الولايات المتحدة في فنزويلا يمثل «السيناريو الأمثل» الذي يمكن تطبيقه على إيران، في إشارة إلى استراتيجية الضغط السياسي والاقتصادي المكثف.
كما أعرب عن أمله في أن تقوم قوات النخبة الإيرانية، بما في ذلك الحرس الثوري الإيراني، بتسليم أسلحتها إلى الشعب الإيراني.
ثلاثة خيارات لقيادة إيران
وكشف ترمب أنه يمتلك «ثلاثة خيارات جيدة للغاية» تتعلق بمستقبل القيادة في إيران، لكنه رفض الإفصاح عنها حالياً، قائلاً: «دعونا ننجز المهمة أولاً».
واختتم تصريحاته بالتأكيد على ثقته بأن إيران ستستسلم في نهاية المطاف لإرادة الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل، في موقف يعكس تصعيداً سياسياً موازياً للعمليات العسكرية على الأرض.
مخزون كافٍ لمواصلة القتال
من جهته، يستعد الجيش الأمريكي لمواصلة هجومه لفترة تتراوح بين أربعة وخمسة أسابيع إذا اقتضت الضرورة، وفق ما أعلنه وزارة الدفاع الأمريكية (البنتاغون).
وأكدت الوزارة أنها تحتفظ بقوات وصواريخ وقنابل ومخزون واسع من الذخيرة موزع حول العالم، ما يتيح استمرار العمليات العسكرية دون صعوبات لوجستية تُذكر.

He described the ongoing operation as one of the most complex military offensive operations.
“The Venezuela Scenario”…
Trump considered that what the United States did in Venezuela represents “the optimal scenario” that could be applied to Iran, referring to a strategy of intense political and economic pressure.
He also expressed hope that Iran’s elite forces, including the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, would surrender their weapons to the Iranian people.
Three Options for Iran’s Leadership
Trump revealed that he has “three very good options” regarding the future leadership in Iran, but he declined to disclose them at this time, saying: “Let’s get the job done first.”
He concluded his remarks by affirming his confidence that Iran will ultimately yield to the will of the United States and Israel, in a stance that reflects a political escalation parallel to military operations on the ground.
Sufficient Stock to Continue Fighting
For its part, the U.S. military is preparing to continue its assault for a period ranging from four to five weeks if necessary, according to the U.S. Department of Defense (the Pentagon).
The department confirmed that it maintains forces, missiles, bombs, and a wide stockpile of ammunition distributed around the world, allowing military operations to continue without significant logistical difficulties.
