البرلمان العربي يدين بشدة اقتحام الاحتلال لمقر الأونروا بالقدس – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو
أدان البرلمان العربي بأشد العبارات، الجريمة النكراء التي ارتكبتها قوات كيان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي باقتحام مقر وكالة الأمم المتحدة لغوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين «الأونروا» في مدينة القدس، معتبراً هذا الفعل «اعتداءً سافراً ومباشراً» على الأمم المتحدة وشرعيتها الدولية، وانتهاكاً فاضحاً لكل القوانين والمواثيق الدولية دون أي رادع أو احترام للمجتمع الدولي.
وأكد رئيس البرلمان العربي محمد بن أحمد اليماحي، أن هذه الممارسات العدوانية تأتي في إطار حرب ممنهجة يشنّها كيان الاحتلال لتجفيف مصادر الأونروا، واستهدافاً مباشراً لمهمتها الإنسانية في تقديم الخدمات لملايين اللاجئين الفلسطينيين، ومحاولة جديدة لتقويض دور «الأونروا» الدولي وإنهاء عملها وحرمان الشعب الفلسطيني من حقوقه الأساسية.
وشدد اليماحي على أن اقتحام مقر منظمة أممية تعمل تحت علم الأمم المتحدة جريمة دولية مكتملة الأركان، وعلى المجتمع الدولي والأمم المتحدة التحرك الفوري لوقف انفلات كيان الاحتلال الذي بات يهدد كل قواعد النظام الدولي.
وطالب اليماحي باتخاذ إجراءات دولية رادعة ضد كيان الاحتلال، وضمان حماية فورية وكاملة لمقار المنظمات الدولية والعاملين فيها، محمّلًا كيان الاحتلال المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذا التصعيد الخطير وتبعاته على الاستقرار الإقليمي والأمن الدولي.
وشدد على أن البرلمان العربي سيواصل تحركاته السياسية والدبلوماسية لفضح هذه الانتهاكات ومحاسبة مرتكبيها على المستوى الدولي.
وشهد يوم الإثنين مداهمة واسعة نفذتها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لمقر «الأونروا» الرئيسي في القدس في منطقة حي الشيخ جراح، إذ فتشت المكاتب وصادرت حواسيب ووثائق، واعتقلت موظفين فلسطينيين لساعات قبل إطلاق سراحهم.
وبررت سلطات الاحتلال العملية بزعم «وجود أنشطة تابعة لحماس داخل المقر»، وهو اتهام رفضته الأونروا جملة وتفصيلاً واعتبرته «ملفقاً وخطراً».
ويأتي الاقتحام ضمن سلسلة تصعيد إسرائيلي ممنهج ضد الأونروا منذ أكثر من عامين، شملت: سن قانون إسرائيلي في أكتوبر 2024 يحظر عمل الأونروا داخل الأراضي المحتلة اعتباراً من يناير 2026، وقطع التمويل الأمريكي والأوروبي جزئياً عن الوكالة بضغوط إسرائيلية، واتهامات متكررة (دحضتها تحقيقات مستقلة) بتورط موظفي الأونروا في عمليات 7 أكتوبر، وإغلاق مدارس الأونروا ومراكزها الصحية في القدس الشرقية تدريجياً.
The Arab Parliament condemned in the strongest terms the heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces by storming the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Jerusalem, considering this act a “flagrant and direct assault” on the United Nations and its international legitimacy, and a blatant violation of all international laws and charters without any deterrent or respect for the international community.
Arab Parliament President Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi affirmed that these aggressive practices come as part of a systematic war waged by the occupying entity to dry up UNRWA’s resources, directly targeting its humanitarian mission to provide services to millions of Palestinian refugees, and a new attempt to undermine UNRWA’s international role, end its work, and deprive the Palestinian people of their basic rights.
Al-Yamahi stressed that storming the headquarters of a UN organization operating under the UN flag is a complete international crime, and that the international community and the United Nations must take immediate action to stop the rampancy of the occupying entity, which has begun to threaten all the rules of the international system.
Al-Yamahi called for international deterrent measures against the occupying entity and for ensuring immediate and complete protection for the headquarters of international organizations and their staff, holding the occupying entity fully responsible for this dangerous escalation and its repercussions on regional stability and international security.
He emphasized that the Arab Parliament will continue its political and diplomatic efforts to expose these violations and hold their perpetrators accountable at the international level.
On Monday, a large-scale raid was carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on the main UNRWA headquarters in Jerusalem in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, where they searched the offices, confiscated computers and documents, and detained Palestinian employees for hours before releasing them.
The occupation authorities justified the operation by claiming “the presence of Hamas activities within the headquarters,” a charge that UNRWA categorically rejected and deemed “fabricated and dangerous.”
This incursion comes as part of a series of systematic Israeli escalations against UNRWA for more than two years, which included: the enactment of an Israeli law in October 2024 prohibiting UNRWA from operating in the occupied territories starting January 2026, partial cuts to American and European funding for the agency under Israeli pressure, and repeated accusations (which were refuted by independent investigations) of UNRWA employees’ involvement in the events of October 7, as well as the gradual closure of UNRWA schools and health centers in East Jerusalem.
