الخطيب: السعودية الأولى عالمياً في تدريب الكوادر السياحية – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو
أكد وزير السياحة أحمد الخطيب أن الرياض تجمع العالم نحو مستقبل أكثر استدامة للسياحة العالمية.
ونقل الوزير الخطيب، خلال كلمته في افتتاح أعمال الدورة السادسة والعشرين لاجتماع الجمعية العامة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة (UN Tourism)، التي تستضيفها الرياض خلال الفترة من 7 إلى 11 نوفمبر 2025 تحت شعار «السياحة المدعومة بالذكاء الاصطناعي.. إعادة تعريف المستقبل»، تحيات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، ورحب بالمشاركين في هذا الحدث العالمي الذي يجسّد ريادة المملكة ومكانتها الدولية في صناعة السياحة.
وأوضح أن استضافة السعودية للاجتماع تعد أكبر دورة في تاريخ المنظمة منذ تأسيسها قبل 50 عاماً، وبمشاركة ممثلين عن أكثر من 150 دولة.
وقال: «السعودية أدركت مبكراً أهمية تنمية الكوادر البشرية، لتصبح الأولى عالمياً في تدريب الكفاءات السياحية، كما أن المملكة تقود اليوم جهوداً دولية لبناء القدرات، وتعمل على تمكين الشباب والمرأة ورفع مساهمتهم في الاقتصاد الوطني عبر فرص نوعية في قطاع السياحة».
وأعلن الوزير الخطيب أن الرياض تستعد بفخر لاستضافة معرض «إكسبو 2030» الذي يقوم على 3 محاور رئيسية: المجتمعات المزدهرة، والذكاء الاصطناعي، وصحة الإنسان، متوقعاً أن يجذب المعرض أكثر من 40 مليون زائر إلى العاصمة السعودية.
شراكات إستراتيجية
وأضاف الوزير الخطيب: «من الرياض العاصمة التي تجمع العالم، نؤكد التزامنا بالعمل مع منظمة الأمم المتحدة للسياحة من أجل الإنسان والمستقبل المشترك».
وأشار إلى أن الابتكار والذكاء الاصطناعي يمثلان المحرك الرئيسي لصناعة السياحة الحديثة، موضحاً أن المملكة تعمل ضمن رؤيتها الطموحة على تسخير التقنية والابتكار لتعزيز تجربة السائح وتحقيق الكفاءة التشغيلية، من خلال شراكات إستراتيجية بين القطاعين العام والخاص.
برنامج طموح
وبين الوزير الخطيب أن هذه الدورة تُعد الاجتماع الأول من نوعه في منطقة الخليج العربي، إذ أعدّت المملكة برنامجاً طموحاً يعكس الاهتمامات المشتركة بين دول العالم، ويدعم الاقتصاد العالمي من خلال جلسات وفعاليات تحتفي باليوبيل الذهبي للمنظمة.
وأفاد الخطيب بأن السياحة أصبحت ركيزة أساسية للاقتصاد العالمي، إذ تسهم بنحو 11 تريليون دولار في الناتج الإجمالي، وتوفر أكثر من 357 مليون وظيفة حول العالم.
وتوقع أن يحتاج القطاع إلى 91 مليون وظيفة جديدة بحلول عام 2035، في وقت يُتوقع فيه عجز بـ43 مليون وظيفة خلال العقد القادم؛ ما يعزز أهمية الاستثمار في الإنسان والتقنية لضمان استمرار نمو القطاع وتحقيق استدامته.
Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb confirmed that Riyadh brings the world together towards a more sustainable future for global tourism.
During his speech at the opening of the 26th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), which is hosted by Riyadh from November 7 to 11, 2025, under the theme “AI-Driven Tourism… Redefining the Future,” Minister Al-Khateeb conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, and welcomed the participants in this global event that embodies the Kingdom’s leadership and its international standing in the tourism industry.
He explained that Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the meeting is the largest session in the organization’s history since its establishment 50 years ago, with representatives from more than 150 countries participating.
He stated: “Saudi Arabia recognized early the importance of developing human resources, becoming the world leader in training tourism competencies. The Kingdom is also leading international efforts to build capacities and is working to empower youth and women, increasing their contributions to the national economy through quality opportunities in the tourism sector.”
Minister Al-Khateeb announced that Riyadh is proudly preparing to host the “Expo 2030,” which is based on three main pillars: thriving communities, artificial intelligence, and human health, expecting that the expo will attract more than 40 million visitors to the Saudi capital.
Strategic Partnerships
Minister Al-Khateeb added: “From Riyadh, the capital that brings the world together, we affirm our commitment to work with the United Nations World Tourism Organization for humanity and our shared future.”
He pointed out that innovation and artificial intelligence are the main drivers of the modern tourism industry, explaining that the Kingdom is working within its ambitious vision to harness technology and innovation to enhance the tourist experience and achieve operational efficiency through strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors.
Aspirational Program
Minister Al-Khateeb indicated that this session is the first of its kind in the Gulf region, as the Kingdom has prepared an ambitious program that reflects the common interests among countries worldwide and supports the global economy through sessions and events celebrating the organization’s golden jubilee.
Al-Khateeb stated that tourism has become a fundamental pillar of the global economy, contributing approximately $11 trillion to the gross output and providing more than 357 million jobs worldwide.
He predicted that the sector will need 91 million new jobs by 2035, while a shortfall of 43 million jobs is expected over the next decade; this underscores the importance of investing in people and technology to ensure the sector’s continued growth and sustainability.
