يُثمن سكان المحافظات الجنوبية اليمنية جهود السعودية في دعم قضيتهم من خلال الدعوة إلى مؤتمر جنوبي في الرياض من خلاله تتشاور القيادات والشخصيات الجنوبية حول قضيتهم ووضعها في إطارها الصحيح الذي يرضي الجميع ولا يقصي أحداً ولا يجعلها مرتهنة لشخصيات أو مكوّنات معينة.

ويأتي الدعم من قبل شعب الجنوب اليمني لجهود السعودية في احتضانها للمؤتمر الذي يناقش قضيتهم من خلال المسيّرات والحشود في عدن، والتي خرجت بمضامين تبرهن الوعي بأهمية تقديم الشكر للقيادة السعودية على دعمها غير المسبوق للقضية الجنوبية والحرص على بقائها حية، ولا أدل على ذلك انعقاد مشاورات بعض الشخصيات في الرياض تحت علم الجنوب وعلى أنغام نشيدهم الوطني، الذي طالما تغنوا به باعتباره عنواناً لقضيتهم العادلة.

ولعل أكثر ما يبث الطمأنينة في نفوس أبناء المحافظات الجنوبية من اليمن الشقيق هو أن قضيتهم بدأت مرحلة من الزخم غير المسبوق مع التأكيد على أن حياتها وسيرها نحو تحقيق الحلم لن ترتبط بكيانات أو قيادات أو أشخاص وإنما ما يتفق عليه أبناء الجنوب عامة من خلال مؤتمر الرياض الجنوبي الذي يعوّل عليه في وضع القضية الجنوبية في مسارها الصحيح.

Perhaps what brings the most reassurance to the souls of the people from the southern governorates of their brotherly Yemen is that their cause has entered a phase of unprecedented momentum, with the affirmation that its life and progress towards achieving the dream will not be tied to entities, leaderships, or individuals, but rather to what the people of the south agree upon collectively through the Southern Conference in Riyadh, which is relied upon to place the southern cause on the correct path.
