السفير الكوري لـ«عكاظ»: قافلة الصداقة فرصة ثمينة لتعميق الفهم المتبادل – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

أكد سفير جمهورية كوريا الجنوبية لدى المملكة، في تصريح خاص إلى «عكاظ»، أن إقامة قافلة الصداقة في جامعة الأمير سلطان، تمثل فرصة ثمينة لتعميق الفهم المتبادل بين الشعبين، مشيراً إلى أن الثقافة والفنون تشكل جسراً حقيقياً لتعزيز التواصل بين الأمم، وتفتح آفاقاً جديدة للتعاون في مجالات التعليم والبحث والتقنية.

وأضاف السفير الكوري، أن بلاده تعتز بعلاقاتها التاريخية والمتنامية مع المملكة، وتحرص على توسيع التعاون الثقافي والتعليمي بما يواكب تطلعات البلدين الصديقين، مؤكداً أن هذه الفعالية تأتي ضمن سلسلة من المبادرات التي تنفذها جمعية كوريا-عرب بدعم من وزارة الخارجية الكورية لتعزيز الحوار الثقافي بين كوريا والدول العربية منذ 2008.

وكانت جامعة الأمير سلطان في الرياض استضافت، بحضور السفير الكوري الجنوبي، فعاليات الدورة الثامنة عشرة من «قافلة الصداقة بين كوريا والدول العربية»، التي تهدف إلى تعزيز التبادل الثقافي والحضاري بين الشعبين السعودي والكوري، وتوطيد العلاقات الثنائية في مختلف المجالات.

وتضمنت الفعالية عروضاً فنية وثقافية، عكست جمال التراث الكوري وتنوع حضارته، إلى جانب معارض تعريفية بالثقافة الكورية الحديثة، وسط تفاعل واسع من الحضور من طلاب الجامعة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس.

The Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to the Kingdom, in a special statement to “Okaz,” confirmed that the establishment of the Friendship Caravan at Prince Sultan University represents a valuable opportunity to deepen mutual understanding between the two peoples, noting that culture and arts form a true bridge to enhance communication between nations and open new horizons for cooperation in the fields of education, research, and technology.

The Korean ambassador added that his country takes pride in its historical and growing relations with the Kingdom and is keen to expand cultural and educational cooperation in line with the aspirations of the two friendly countries, emphasizing that this event is part of a series of initiatives implemented by the Korea-Arab Association with the support of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enhance cultural dialogue between Korea and Arab countries since 2008.

Prince Sultan University in Riyadh hosted, in the presence of the South Korean ambassador, the activities of the eighteenth session of the “Friendship Caravan between Korea and Arab Countries,” which aims to enhance cultural and civilizational exchange between the Saudi and Korean peoples and strengthen bilateral relations in various fields.

The event included artistic and cultural performances that reflected the beauty of Korean heritage and the diversity of its civilization, along with exhibitions introducing modern Korean culture, amidst wide interaction from attendees, including university students and faculty members.
