في ظل المعطيات الخطيرة والتسريبات المقلقة التي رافقت اللقاء الأخير والحاسم في العاصمة بغداد بين رئيس الوزراء محمد شياع السوداني والمبعوث الأمريكي توم براك، يتضح جلياً أن المنطقة تقف اليوم على فوهة بركان يوشك أن يقذف حممه ليحرق الأخضر واليابس، حيث لم تكن الرسائل الأمريكية التي حذّرت من عملية إسرائيلية وشيكة في لبنان مجرد برقيات دبلوماسية روتينية، بل كانت إنذاراً نهائياً بأن الغطاء قد رُفع، وأن أي انخراط للفصائل العراقية في هذه المعركة سيحوّل العراق إلى ساحة مستباحة لضربات إسرائيلية مدمرة لن تمنعها واشنطن، وهو ما يضعنا أمام حقيقة مرة مفادها أن استقرار الشعوب وأمن الأوطان بات رهينة بيد أطراف غير مسؤولة تمارس العبث السياسي والعسكري بلا أدنى درجات الحكمة أو التعقل، ويأتي في طليعة هذه الأطراف حزب الله الذي يصر بتعنّت غريب على التشبّث بسلاحه خارج إطار الشرعية، رافضاً التحوّل إلى مكوّن سياسي مدني يؤمن بمنطق الدولة والمؤسسات، ومفضلاً البقاء بوضعية «الميليشيا» التي تصادر قرار السلم والحرب وتفرض أجنداتها الخاصة على الدولة اللبنانية المنهكة، مغامراً بمصير شعب كامل لخدمة شعارات لم تجلب إلا الدمار، وفي المقابل تقف الحكومة الإسرائيلية المتطرّفة كوجه آخر لهذه العملة الرديئة، بعد أن تخلت تماماً عن لغة السياسة والدبلوماسية، واستسلمت لعقيدة القوة العمياء، متوهمة أن الحلول العسكرية الصرفة وسياسة الأرض المحروقة قادرة على صنع الأمن، متجاهلة أن هذا الهروب إلى الأمام عبر الحروب المفتوحة لن يولد إلا مزيداً من العنف والكراهية وعدم الاستقرار الذي سيرتد عليها عاجلاً أم آجلاً، وتكتمل أركان هذه المأساة بالدور الذي يلعبه «الطرف الإقليمي المعروف» الذي يقف خلف الكواليس، والذي يبدو أنه يعيش في عزلة شعورية تامة عن الواقع، عاجزاً عن قراءة التحوّلات الجيوسياسية العميقة التي شهدتها المنطقة والعالم، إذ لا يزال هذا الطرف يراهن على سياسات تصدير الثورة والأزمات وتشغيل الأذرع بالوكالة، مكرراً نفس الأخطاء الإستراتيجية القاتلة التي أدّت سابقاً إلى كوارث اقتصادية وعقوبات وحروب عبثية، وكأنه لم يستوعب بعد أن زمن اللعب على حافة الهاوية قد ولّى، وأن العالم لم يعد يحتمل المزيد من هذه المناورات المكشوفة التي تدفع ثمنها الشعوب العربية من دمائها ومقدراتها، إن هذا الثلاثي المأزوم بتركيبته المتناقضة يجر المنطقة برمتها نحو سيناريوهات سوداوية، جاعلاً من العراق ولبنان ساحات لتصفية حسابات عدمية لا ناقة للشعوب فيها ولا جمل، وهو ما يستدعي وقفة جادة وعقلانية لرفض هذا الانجرار الأعمى خلف دعوات التصعيد، فاللحظة الراهنة لا تحتمل المغامرة، والتاريخ لن يرحم أولئك الذين استبدلوا منطق العقل والسياسة بمنطق البارود والنار، وأضاعوا فرص السلام والاستقرار جرياً خلف أوهام الزعامة والنفوذ، فمن يزرع الريح في حقول السياسة الملغومة لن يحصد سوى العاصفة التي تقتلع الجذور وتهدم البنيان، ولات حين مندم لمن لا يرى في الأفق إلا دخان الحروب ولا يسمع إلا صليل السيوف، ناسياً أن حكمة القيادة تتجلى في صون الدماء لا في إراقتها، وأن الحفاظ على الأوطان هو الغاية الأسمى التي تتضاءل أمامها كل الشعارات الجوفاء والمشاريع العابرة للحدود.

In light of the dangerous data and alarming leaks that accompanied the recent and decisive meeting in the capital Baghdad between Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and the American envoy Tom Brack, it is clear that the region today stands on the brink of a volcano ready to erupt and scorch everything in its path. The American messages warning of an imminent Israeli operation in Lebanon were not mere routine diplomatic cables, but rather a final warning that the cover has been lifted, and any involvement of Iraqi factions in this battle will turn Iraq into an open arena for devastating Israeli strikes that Washington will not prevent. This places us before a bitter reality: the stability of peoples and the security of homelands have become hostage to irresponsible parties that engage in political and military chaos without the slightest degree of wisdom or reason. At the forefront of these parties is Hezbollah, which stubbornly insists on clinging to its weapons outside the framework of legitimacy, refusing to transform into a civil political component that believes in the logic of the state and institutions, preferring to remain in a “militia” status that monopolizes the decision of peace and war and imposes its own agendas on the exhausted Lebanese state, risking the fate of an entire people to serve slogans that have brought nothing but destruction. In contrast, the extremist Israeli government stands as another face of this bad coin, having completely abandoned the language of politics and diplomacy, surrendering to the doctrine of blind force, deluding itself that pure military solutions and a scorched earth policy can create security, ignoring that this escape forward through open wars will only generate more violence, hatred, and instability that will eventually rebound on it. The pillars of this tragedy are completed by the role played by the “known regional party” that stands behind the scenes, which seems to live in complete emotional isolation from reality, unable to read the deep geopolitical transformations that the region and the world have witnessed. This party still bets on policies of exporting revolution and crises and operating proxies, repeating the same fatal strategic mistakes that previously led to economic disasters, sanctions, and futile wars, as if it has not yet realized that the time for playing on the edge of the abyss has passed, and that the world can no longer tolerate more of these blatant maneuvers that the Arab peoples pay for with their blood and resources. This troubled trio, with its contradictory composition, is dragging the entire region towards bleak scenarios, turning Iraq and Lebanon into arenas for settling nihilistic scores that the peoples have no stake in. This calls for a serious and rational stand to reject this blind drag behind calls for escalation, as the current moment cannot bear adventure, and history will not forgive those who replaced the logic of reason and politics with the logic of gunpowder and fire, and squandered opportunities for peace and stability in pursuit of illusions of leadership and influence. Those who sow the wind in the fields of explosive politics will reap only the storm that uproots roots and destroys structures, and there will be no time for regret for those who see nothing in the horizon but the smoke of wars and hear only the clashing of swords, forgetting that the wisdom of leadership is manifested in preserving blood, not spilling it, and that safeguarding homelands is the highest goal that diminishes before all hollow slogans and transnational projects.
