أكد رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني الدكتور رشاد العليمي، أن السعودية دافعت بمفردها عن قرارات الشرعية الدولية، ودعمت مسارات السلام، وتحملت أعباء سياسية وإنسانية جسيمة من أجل استقرار اليمن والمنطقة.
منع سقوط الدولة
وأثنى العليمي خلال لقاء دبلوماسيين ألمانيين، اليوم(الإثنين)، على الدور الذي اضطلعت به السعودية، منذ عاصفة الحزم التي منعت سقوط الدولة في القبضة الإيرانية، مرورًا بإعادة الأمل، وصولًا إلى جهود خفض التصعيد الأخيرة.
وكشف العليمي السرديات الزائفة التي جرى تسويقها، لتبرير التحركات الأحادية في حضرموت والمهرة، تحت مزاعم مكافحة الإرهاب، مؤكدا أن الحالة اليمنية مثل عديد الحالات الأخرى في المنطقة، تثبت أن دعم المليشيات غير الخاضعة للدولة، لا يكافح الإرهاب، بل يعيد إنتاجه.
بيئة مثالية لتنامي التطرف
وشدد على أن الفوضى الأمنية، وتعدد مراكز القوة، وشرعنة السلاح خارج إطار الدولة، هي البيئة المثالية لتنامي الجماعات المتطرفة، وخلق مساحات رمادية تتقاطع فيها المليشيات بكل أشكالها مع أهداف التنظيمات الإرهابية.
وحذر رئيس مجلس القيادة من أن أي محاولة لتوسيع بؤر التوتر، أو خلق منصات تهديد جديدة لأمن دول الجوار، أو الممرات المائية، ليست مغامرة محلية فقط، بل مقامرة بأمن الطاقة العالمي وسلاسل الإمداد، وتهديد حقيقي للسلم والأمن الدوليين.
فرصة نادرة للمجتمع الدولي
ولفت إلى أن اليمن، بحكم موقعه الجغرافي، ليس ساحة هامشية، مؤكدا أن أي فوضى فيه ستنعكس سريعا على أمن الشحن البحري عبر البحر الأحمر، وباب المندب، ثم على أوروبا والعالم بأسره.
وأفاد العليمي بأن هذه اللحظة تمثل فرصة نادرة للمجتمع الدولي في اليمن، مع وجود شريك واحد وموثوق، ومؤسسات قابلة للمساءلة، بدلا من التعامل مع المليشيات غير المنضبطة، مؤكدا أن دعم الدولة اليمنية، سياسيا واقتصاديا وإنسانيا، هو دعم لأمن واستقرار المنطقة والعالم.
تعزيز قدرات الحكومة
والتقى العليمي المفوض الخاص لوزارة الخارجية الألمانية لشؤون الشرق الأوسط والأدنى وشمال إفريقيا توبياس تونكل، والسفير الألماني لدى اليمن توماس شنايدر.
وتطرق اللقاء للعلاقات الثنائية العريقة بين البلدين الصديقين، وسبل تطويرها في مختلف المجالات، وأولويات الدعم الألماني والأوروبي المطلوب لتعزيز قدرات الحكومة اليمنية في فرض الأمن والاستقرار، وبناء السلام.
تثبيت الاستقرار الداخلي
وثمن العليمي موقف ألمانيا الداعم لليمن ووحدته واستقراره، فضلا عن مساهماتها المقدرة في خطة الاستجابة الإنسانية، بصفتها أحد أكبر المانحين الأوروبيين، لافتا إلى أن هذا الدعم الألماني الثابت جسد التزاما أخلاقيا تجاه الشعب اليمني الذي يواجه واحدة من أكبر الأزمات الإنسانية في العصر الحديث.

The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, confirmed that Saudi Arabia has single-handedly defended international legitimacy decisions, supported peace pathways, and borne significant political and humanitarian burdens for the stability of Yemen and the region.
Preventing the Collapse of the State
During a meeting with German diplomats today (Monday), Al-Alimi praised the role that Saudi Arabia has played since Operation Decisive Storm, which prevented the state from falling into Iranian hands, through to the Hope Restoration initiative, and up to the recent de-escalation efforts.
Al-Alimi revealed the false narratives that have been marketed to justify unilateral actions in Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra under the pretext of combating terrorism, emphasizing that the Yemeni situation, like many other cases in the region, proves that supporting militias outside the state does not combat terrorism but rather reproduces it.
An Ideal Environment for the Growth of Extremism
He stressed that security chaos, the proliferation of power centers, and the legitimization of weapons outside the state’s framework create the ideal environment for the growth of extremist groups, and create gray areas where militias of all forms intersect with the objectives of terrorist organizations.
The President of the Leadership Council warned that any attempt to expand hotspots of tension or create new threat platforms to the security of neighboring countries or maritime routes is not just a local adventure but a gamble with global energy security and supply chains, posing a real threat to international peace and security.
A Rare Opportunity for the International Community
He pointed out that Yemen, due to its geographical location, is not a marginal arena, asserting that any chaos there will quickly reflect on maritime shipping security through the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, and then on Europe and the entire world.
Al-Alimi stated that this moment represents a rare opportunity for the international community in Yemen, with one reliable partner and accountable institutions, instead of dealing with undisciplined militias, emphasizing that supporting the Yemeni state politically, economically, and humanitarianly is support for the security and stability of the region and the world.
Enhancing Government Capabilities
Al-Alimi met with the German Foreign Ministry’s Special Commissioner for the Middle East and North Africa, Tobias Tunkel, and the German Ambassador to Yemen, Thomas Schneider.
The meeting addressed the long-standing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, ways to develop them in various fields, and the priorities for German and European support needed to enhance the Yemeni government’s capabilities in enforcing security and stability and building peace.
Consolidating Internal Stability
Al-Alimi appreciated Germany’s supportive stance towards Yemen, its unity, and stability, as well as its valued contributions to the humanitarian response plan, being one of the largest European donors, noting that this steadfast German support embodies a moral commitment to the Yemeni people who are facing one of the largest humanitarian crises of modern times.
He reviewed the latest developments in the local situation following the successful process of receiving the military camps, which represented a corrective measure aimed at unifying security and military decisions and preventing the country from slipping into chaos, emphasizing that this step will significantly contribute to consolidating internal stability, creating a more conducive environment for institutional work, the flow of aid, and restoring trust with the international community.
