القبض على 9 أشخاص مشتبه بهم في مخطط احتيال يتعلق بتذاكر متحف اللوفر – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

ألقت السلطات الفرنسية أمس (الخميس) القبض على 9 أشخاص، وصادرت أكثر من 1.4 مليون يورو متعلقة بمخطط احتيال مشتبه به في تذاكر متحف اللوفر.

وأكد مكتب المدعي العام أن مرشدين سياحيين وموظفين اثنين في اللوفر وشخصاً آخر يشتبه في تنظيمهم عملية الاحتيال كانوا من بين التسعة الذين جرى القبض عليهم، ومن المقرر أن يمثل المشتبه بهم أمام قاضٍ اليوم (الجمعة).

ويعتقد محققون أن الاحتيال كان مستمراً منذ ما يربو على 10 سنوات.

ويقدّر متحف اللوفر حجم الضرر الناجم عن الاحتيال بأكثر من 10 ملايين يورو.

The French authorities arrested 9 people yesterday (Thursday) and seized more than 1.4 million euros related to a suspected fraud scheme involving Louvre museum tickets.

The public prosecutor’s office confirmed that among those arrested were tour guides, two employees of the Louvre, and another person suspected of organizing the fraud, and the suspects are scheduled to appear before a judge today (Friday).

Investigators believe that the fraud has been ongoing for more than 10 years.

The Louvre museum estimates the damage caused by the fraud to be over 10 million euros.
