في حادثة مأساوية هزّت ولاية أريزونا الأمريكية أمس (الجمعة)، لقي 4 أشخاص مصرعهم، إثر تحطم مروحية في منطقة جبلية وعرة، وفق ما أكدت وكالة «أسوشيتد برس».
وأوضح مكتب شرطة منطقة بينال أن الحادثة وقعت قرب تليجراف كانيون على بعد 103 كيلومترات شرق مدينة فينيكس، حيث عثر رجال الشرطة على حطام المروحية الخاصة التي أقلعت من مطار بيغاسوس في كوين كريك.
ووضعت السلطات طوقاً أمنياً حول موقع الحطام لبدء التحقيقات في ملابسات سقوط المروحية، الذي لا تزال أسبابه غير واضحة حتى اللحظة، وسط جهود مكثفة من فرق الإنقاذ للتأكد من عدم وجود ناجين.
وتأتي هذه الحادثة بعد سلسلة من حوادث الطيران المحلية، لتذكّر بمخاطر التحليق في المناطق الجبلية الوعرة، حيث يمكن لأي خطأ تقني أو ظروف جوية غير متوقعة أن تتحول إلى كارثة.
In a tragic incident that shook the state of Arizona in the United States yesterday (Friday), 4 people lost their lives after a helicopter crashed in a rugged mountainous area, as confirmed by the Associated Press.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office explained that the incident occurred near Telegraph Canyon, about 103 kilometers east of Phoenix, where police found the wreckage of the private helicopter that had taken off from Pegasus Airport in Queen Creek.
Authorities have cordoned off the crash site to begin investigations into the circumstances of the helicopter’s fall, the causes of which remain unclear at this time, amidst intensive efforts from rescue teams to ensure there are no survivors.
This incident comes after a series of local aviation accidents, reminding us of the dangers of flying in rugged mountainous areas, where any technical error or unexpected weather conditions can turn into a disaster.
