تحولت مشادة زوجية إلى مشهد رعب حقيقي في مدينة غازي عنتاب التركية، عندما أقدم رجل على تقييد زوجته وصب مادة «الأسيد» الحارقة على رأسها بعدما أصرت على الطلاق، في جريمة أثارت الرأي العام.

وبحسب وسائل إعلام محلية، وصل الخلاف إلى ذروته عندما علم الرجل بإجراءات الطلاق التي اتخذتها زوجته بدعم من عائلتها، فاقتحم منزلها، وقيدها بإحكام باستخدام شريط لاصق، قبل أن يسكب عليها مادة كيميائية حارقة مباشرة على رأسها، ما تسبب لها بحروق بالغة طالت فروة الرأس بالكامل والوجه والعنق والصدر وأدت إلى فقدان جزئي للبصر.

وفور ارتكاب الجريمة، اتصل الزوج بعائلة الضحية ليُبلغهم بما فعل، ثم غادر المنزل متوجهاً إلى مركز الشرطة ليسلم نفسه طواعية، تاركة زوجته تصارع الموت في المنزل.

وصلت فرق الإسعاف بسرعة إلى مكان الحادثة لتبدأ سباقاً مع الزمن لإنقاذ حياة الضحية، وقدمت الإسعافات الأولية لها قبل نقلها إلى مستشفى غازي عنتاب الحكومي، حيث تخضع الآن للعلاج في وحدة الحروق، وسط مخاوف من التشوهات التي غيرت ملامحها وشكوك أن تكون إصابات الحروق التي لحقت بعينيها دائمة.

وأثارت الواقعة صدمة واسعة في المجتمع المحلي ووسائل الإعلام التركية، فيما باشرت الشرطة التحقيقات وأتمت الإجراءات القانونية كافة مع الزوج آدم كولاه، الذي تم إيداعه السجن بأمر من النيابة العامة.

ووصف المتخصصون الجريمة بأنها نموذج مأساوي للعنف الزوجي المتصاعد، مؤكدين أن تصرفات الزوج تظهر درجة غير مسبوقة من الإصرار على السيطرة والانتقام، بينما دعا ناشطون على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي إلى تشديد العقوبات على الجرائم المرتبطة بالعنف المنزلي لحماية النساء.

A marital dispute turned into a real horror scene in the Turkish city of Gaziantep when a man tied up his wife and poured a burning substance, “acid,” on her head after she insisted on divorce, in a crime that shocked public opinion.

According to local media, the conflict reached its peak when the man learned about the divorce proceedings his wife had initiated with the support of her family. He stormed into her home, bound her tightly with adhesive tape, and then poured a caustic chemical directly onto her head, causing severe burns that affected her entire scalp, face, neck, and chest, leading to partial vision loss.

Immediately after committing the crime, the husband called the victim’s family to inform them of what he had done, then left the house heading to the police station to voluntarily surrender, leaving his wife to fight for her life at home.

Ambulance teams quickly arrived at the scene to begin a race against time to save the victim’s life, providing her with first aid before transporting her to Gaziantep State Hospital, where she is now receiving treatment in the burns unit, amid fears of disfigurement that have altered her features and concerns that the burn injuries to her eyes may be permanent.

The incident has caused widespread shock in the local community and Turkish media, while the police have initiated investigations and completed all legal procedures with the husband, Adam Kolah, who has been placed in jail by order of the public prosecutor.

Specialists described the crime as a tragic example of escalating domestic violence, emphasizing that the husband’s actions demonstrate an unprecedented level of determination to control and seek revenge, while activists on social media have called for stricter penalties for crimes related to domestic violence to protect women.
