حديقة «جبل المدينة».. جمال يشوّهه غياب دورات المياه – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

تُعد حديقة الجبل التي افتتحت في 2023، ضمن مشروعات تطوير المنتزهات والوجهات العامة بالمدينة المنورة؛ إحدى أبرز الوجهات الحديثة بالمدينة، لتمتعها بموقع إستراتيجي في الجهة الشرقية من مخطط الملك فهد، وامتدادها على مساحة تتجاوز 335 ألف متر مربع، ما جعلها متنفساً رئيسياً لسكان الأحياء المجاورة ووجهة يومية لممارسي المشي والتنزه، إضافة إلى ارتباطها بشبكة من الطرق الحيوية، خصوصاً أنها تضم مسارات واسعة للمشاة والدراجات، كما تنفرد بكونها الأولى من نوعها في المدينة المنورة التي تعتمد على تقنيات إضاءة حديثة دون أعمدة تقليدية، وذلك في إطار تعزيز جودة الحياة وتحسين المشهد الحضري.

إلا أن ذلك الجمال بدأ يتشوه، حتى أن زوّار الحديقة باتوا يتضايقون مما باتت عليه أوضاعها، إذ يقول محمد الحربي: الموقع الوحيد لدورات المياه داخل الحديقة موقع واحد، وللأسف هو تحت الصيانة ومضى عليه وقت من الزمن؛ ولهذا نتمنى من الجهة المسؤولة أن توفر دورات مياه داخل الحديقة حتى ننعم بجمالها، فالحديقة تعد من الوجهات الجميلة والمقصودة من الأهالي، إلا أن غياب هذه الخدمة الأساسية يسبب إزعاجاً كبيراً، لا سيما للنساء وكبار السن والأطفال.

من جانبه، أعرب عبدالله الجهني لـ«عكاظ»، عن استغرابه من عدم توفر دورات مياه في حديقة تشهد إقبالاً كبيراً من المواطنين والمقيمين، مشيراً إلى أن هذا النقص يؤثر سلباً على ارتياد المتنزهين ومحبي المشي، خصوصاً في ظل اتساع مساحة الحديقة وكثرة مرتاديها من سكان شرق المدينة، مما يزيد من الحاجة إلى توفير مرافق خدمية مناسبة.

وأضاف آخرون، منهم هادي الجهني ومحمد الشايع وإبراهيم الحربي، أن غياب دورات المياه أسهم في ظهور تصرفات غير حضارية من بعض الزوّار، خصوصاً من الأطفال، إذ يضطر البعض إلى التوجه إلى أماكن منعزلة داخل الحديقة لقضاء حاجته، وهو ما لا ينسجم مع طبيعة الموقع كمتنزه عائلي تقضي فيه الأسر أوقاتاً طويلة، ويؤثر على نظافة المكان وراحة مرتاديه.

The Mountain Park, which opened in 2023, is part of the development projects for parks and public destinations in Medina; it is one of the most prominent modern destinations in the city, enjoying a strategic location on the eastern side of King Fahd’s plan, and extending over an area of more than 335,000 square meters. This has made it a primary outlet for residents of the neighboring neighborhoods and a daily destination for walkers and strollers, in addition to its connection to a network of vital roads, especially since it features wide paths for pedestrians and cyclists. It is also unique as the first of its kind in Medina to rely on modern lighting technologies without traditional poles, as part of efforts to enhance the quality of life and improve the urban landscape.

However, this beauty has begun to deteriorate, to the point that visitors to the park are becoming frustrated with its current conditions. Mohammed Al-Harbi says: “The only location for restrooms inside the park is a single site, and unfortunately, it is under maintenance and has been for some time; therefore, we hope that the responsible authority will provide restrooms within the park so that we can enjoy its beauty. The park is considered one of the beautiful destinations sought after by residents, but the absence of this basic service causes significant inconvenience, especially for women, the elderly, and children.”

For his part, Abdullah Al-Jahni expressed to “Okaz” his astonishment at the lack of restrooms in a park that witnesses a large influx of citizens and residents, pointing out that this deficiency negatively affects the attendance of park-goers and walking enthusiasts, especially given the vast area of the park and the large number of its visitors from the eastern part of the city, which increases the need for suitable service facilities.

Others, including Hadi Al-Jahni, Mohammed Al-Shaya, and Ibrahim Al-Harbi, added that the absence of restrooms has contributed to the emergence of uncivilized behaviors from some visitors, especially children, as some are forced to go to isolated areas within the park to relieve themselves, which is inconsistent with the nature of the site as a family park where families spend long periods, and it affects the cleanliness of the place and the comfort of its visitors.
