عقد المدير الفني للمنتخب السعودي لكرة القدم إيرفي رينارد اليوم (الإثنين) مؤتمراً صحفياً في جدة للحديث عن استعدادات المنتخب السعودي لمواجهة منتخب الجزائر ودياً ضمن فترة التوقف الحالية.

وأوضح رينارد أن هذه المباراة تأتي بوصفها اللقاء الثاني في فترة التوقف، مبيناً أن المنتخب سيواجه خصماً قوياً ومميزاً، وأن الهدف يتمثل في مواصلة النتائج الإيجابية قبل الاستحقاقات القادمة.

وبيّن أنه يولي اهتماماً كبيراً بثبات أداء اللاعبين، مشيراً إلى أن استدعاء اللاعبين لا يعتمد على النادي الذي ينتمون إليه، بل على جاهزيتهم واستمراريتهم، مؤكداً وجود عدد من اللاعبين الذين يعملون بشكل مميز ويقدمون مستويات جيدة مع فرقهم.

وعن مواجهة منتخبي الجزائر وساحل العاج ودياً، أفاد بأن اختيار المنتخبين يعود إلى اختلاف نهجيهما الفنيين، وأن لديه ذكريات جميلة عندما واجه الجزائر في بطولة أفريقيا وكأس العالم، متمنياً لهم التوفيق في المرحلة القادمة، مشيراً إلى أن الجزائر تملك في الوقت الحاضر مدرباً مميزاً وتُعد المواجهة اختباراً حقيقياً.

وفي ختام المؤتمر، أكّد رينارد ثقته باللاعبين والجهاز الفني، وأن المنتخب يعمل بخطة واضحة تهدف إلى الوصول لأفضل جاهزية قبل المنافسات القادمة.

The head coach of the Saudi national football team, Hervé Renard, held a press conference today (Monday) in Jeddah to discuss the team’s preparations for the friendly match against the Algerian national team during the current break.

Renard explained that this match is the second encounter during the break, noting that the team will face a strong and distinguished opponent, and the goal is to continue achieving positive results ahead of upcoming challenges.

He indicated that he places great importance on the consistency of the players’ performance, pointing out that the selection of players does not depend on the club they belong to, but rather on their readiness and continuity, confirming that there are several players who are performing exceptionally well and delivering good levels with their teams.

Regarding the friendly matches against Algeria and Ivory Coast, he stated that the choice of these teams is due to their differing tactical approaches, and he has fond memories of facing Algeria in the Africa Cup and the World Cup, wishing them success in the upcoming stage, noting that Algeria currently has an outstanding coach and that the match will be a real test.
