تحوّل زواج حديث في اليمن إلى مأساة دامية، بعدما أقدم زوج شاب على قتل زوجته طعناً داخل منزلهما في حي السعادة بمديرية خور مكسر، قبل أن يُنهي حياته في حادثة صادمة هزّت الشارع المحلي.

وبحسب مصادر محلية، اندلع خلاف حاد بين الزوجين بعد أسابيع قليلة فقط من زواجهما، سرعان ما تطوّر إلى اعتداء عنيف، فوجّه الزوج عدة طعنات إلى جسد زوجته مستخدماً سكيناً، ما أدى إلى إصابتها بجروح بالغة.

ونُقلت الزوجة بشكل عاجل إلى المستشفى، حيث فارقت الحياة نتيجة الإصابات التي لحقت بها، فيما لم يمضِ وقت طويل قبل أن تُبلغ الشرطة عن انتحار الزوج داخل المنزل مستخدماً أداة الجريمة ذاتها.

وفرضت الأجهزة الأمنية طوقاً حول موقع الحادثة، وشرعت فرق التحقيق والبحث الجنائي في جمع الأدلة ومعاينة المكان، تمهيداً لكشف تفاصيل الواقعة ودوافعها، وسط حالة من الذهول بين سكان الحي.

وأعادت الجريمة تسليط الضوء على تصاعد جرائم العنف الأسري في اليمن، مع تحذيرات من تداعيات هذه الحوادث على النسيج الاجتماعي.

A recent marriage in Yemen turned into a bloody tragedy after a young husband stabbed his wife to death inside their home in the Al-Saada neighborhood of Khawr Maksar district, before ending his own life in a shocking incident that shook the local community.

According to local sources, a heated argument erupted between the couple just a few weeks after their marriage, which quickly escalated into a violent attack, during which the husband inflicted several stab wounds on his wife’s body using a knife, resulting in severe injuries.

The wife was urgently transported to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, while it wasn’t long before the police were informed about the husband’s suicide inside the home using the same murder weapon.

The security forces cordoned off the scene of the incident, and criminal investigation teams began collecting evidence and examining the location, in preparation for uncovering the details of the incident and its motives, amidst a state of shock among the neighborhood residents.

The crime has brought renewed attention to the rise of domestic violence crimes in Yemen, with warnings about the repercussions of these incidents on the social fabric.
