His journey, which began in the Faculty of Arts at King Abdulaziz University, specifically in the Department of Radio and Television, marked the start of a path characterized by ambition, knowledge, and openness to all influential media schools.

With his joining of “Rotana” decades ago, he became one of the key figures in media management for Saudi artistic events, participating in shaping the image of Arab singing stars, and affirming that an artist’s success is incomplete without a conscious and professional media management.

Saleh Issa is known for his prominent role in media supervision of artistic events both inside and outside the Kingdom, where he performed his duties as a rhythmic officer between stars, media, and the audience, with a remarkable presence and intelligent communication, which led many artists and journalists to praise his good manners, sophistication in dealing, and precision in managing details behind the scenes. He expressed his belief in media justice when he affirmed that “Rotana grants every artist their due without discrimination.”

Saleh Issa believes that the special support from Prince Alwaleed bin Talal for “Rotana” was a significant motivation for him to raise the level of responsibility placed on him within his media tasks, coupled with the leadership of Salem Al Hindi, who, as he described, was not just a professional president but a true friend and supporter, possessing a far-reaching vision and deep experience that made him a godfather of the successes of creators at Rotana and an architect of its achievements, which reinforced his successes and solidified his impact in this vital sector.

Many milestones in his career deserve documentation, including his contributions to Saudi newspapers through critical articles and his experiences in sports journalism, which gave him professional depth and a broader perspective in understanding public influence. He has also received honors and certificates of appreciation, the most notable being his selection as “Employee of the Year 2021” at “Rotana,” which is a crowning achievement of a career marked by professional and creative work.

Today, Saleh Issa is viewed as a smart communicator, combining experience, eloquence, and broad culture, and he believes that media is a fundamental partner in the creation and continuation of the arts.

He did not need loud lights to be pointed out; his active presence and respect for his profession and those he works with have made him one of the names that have left a lasting mark in shaping the features of contemporary Saudi artistic media.
