أعلنت محترفة الغوص السعودية غيداء عبدالرزاق الحمد بلوغها عمق 127 متراً في مياه البحر الأحمر، في تجربة غوص تقني جديدة أضافتها إلى سجل مشاركاتها في هذا المجال، متجاوزةً رقمها السابق البالغ 100 متر.
وقالت غيداء، إن هذا العمق يُسجَّل لها كأعلى رقم تحققه غواصة سعودية حتى الآن في البحر الأحمر، معتبرة أن هذه التجربة تمثل محطة مهمة ضمن مسارها في الغوص التقني وتحدي الأعماق.
وأوضحت، أن تجربتها في الغوص تمتد لعدة سنوات، نفذت خلالها نحو 1,000 غوصة سكوبا، وأكثر من 200 غوصة تقنية، إضافة إلى خمس غوصات تجاوزت عمق 80 متراً، إلى جانب مشاركتها في برامج تدريبية وتأهيلية متعددة، تشمل تجارب الغوص التعريفي وإعادة تنشيط الغواصين.
وبيّنت غيداء، أن بدايتها الفعلية مع الغوص كانت في عام 2020، قبل أن تحصل في العام التالي على رخصة الغوص العالمية من منظمة PADI، ورخصة مرشد غوص، واعتماد الغوص المتقدم بتقنية ترايمكس، وتخصص خلط الغازات، وهي مؤهلات – بحسب وصفها – شكّلت تحولاً جوهرياً في مسارها.
وأضافت، أن الغوص أسهم في تطوير مهارات الانضباط والتركيز واتخاذ القرار تحت الضغط، مؤكدة أن هذه التجربة انعكست إيجاباً على حياتها اليومية، كما أشارت إلى أن دعم أسرتها كان عنصراً أساسياً في استمرارها.
وفي جانب آخر، ترى غيداء أن الغوص ليس مجرد هواية، بل أسلوب حياة يعزز الوعي البيئي ويمنح الغواص فرصة لاكتشاف عوالم بحرية نادرة، مشددة على أهمية الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة والتدرج في النزول إلى الأعماق.
Saudi diving professional Ghaida Abdulrazak Al-Hamd announced that she has reached a depth of 127 meters in the Red Sea, in a new technical diving experience that she has added to her record of participation in this field, surpassing her previous record of 100 meters.
Ghaida stated that this depth is recorded as the highest achieved by a Saudi diver so far in the Red Sea, considering that this experience represents an important milestone in her journey in technical diving and deep-sea challenges.
She explained that her diving experience spans several years, during which she has completed nearly 1,000 scuba dives and more than 200 technical dives, in addition to five dives that exceeded a depth of 80 meters, along with her participation in various training and qualification programs, including introductory diving experiences and diver reactivation.
Ghaida indicated that her actual start with diving was in 2020, before obtaining the global diving license from PADI in the following year, as well as a diving instructor license, advanced trimix diving certification, and gas mixing specialization, which she described as qualifications that constituted a fundamental shift in her path.
She added that diving has contributed to the development of her skills in discipline, focus, and decision-making under pressure, emphasizing that this experience has positively reflected on her daily life, and she noted that her family’s support has been a crucial element in her continuation.
On another note, Ghaida sees diving not just as a hobby, but as a lifestyle that enhances environmental awareness and gives divers the opportunity to discover rare marine worlds, stressing the importance of adhering to safety procedures and gradually descending to greater depths.
