مبعوث واشنطن: اتفاق دمشق و«قسد» علامة فارقة في مسار المصالحة – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

وصف المبعوث الأمريكي إلى سورية توم براك، الاتفاق الشامل بين الحكومة السورية وقوات سورية الديمقراطية (قسد)، بأنه علامة فارقة وعميقة الدلالة في مسار سورية نحو المصالحة الوطنية، والوحدة، والاستقرار المستدام.

وأكد براك في بيان على منصة «إكس»، اليوم (الجمعة): أن الاتفاق الذي جاء ثمرة مفاوضات دقيقة وبناءً على أطر سابقة وجهود حديثة لخفض التصعيد، يعكس التزاماً مشتركاً بمبادئ الشمول، والاحترام المتبادل، وصون الكرامة الجماعية لجميع مكونات المجتمع السوري.

ولفت إلى أن الاتفاق يجسد التزام الحكومة السورية بشراكة وطنية حقيقية نهج حكم شامل لا يقصي أحداً.

وقال براك: من خلال تسهيل عملية الدمج المرحلي للهياكل العسكرية والأمنية والإدارية ضمن مؤسسات الدولة الموحدة، مع ضمان إتاحة الفرصة أمام ممثلين بارزين عن قوات سورية الديمقراطية للمساهمة على مستويات قيادية عليا، يؤكد الاتفاق أن قوة سورية تنبع من احتضان تنوعها والاستجابة للتطلعات المشروعة لجميع أبنائها.

واعتبر أن هذا النهج لايساهم في ترسيخ السيادة على كامل الأراضي فحسب، بل يبعث برسالة واضحة إلى المجتمع الدولي مفادها الانفتاح والعدالة.

وبالنسبة للشعب الكردي، الذي كان لتضحياته الاستثنائية وصموده الراسخ دور محوري في الدفاع عن سورية في مواجهة التطرف وحماية الفئات الأكثر ضعفاً، قال براك: إن هذه اللحظة تحمل أهمية خاصة، ويشكل التنفيذ الأخير للمرسوم الرئاسي رقم (13) — الذي أعاد الجنسية السورية كاملة لمن تضرروا سابقاً بفعل سياسات الإقصاء التاريخية، واعترف باللغة الكردية كلغة وطنية إلى جانب العربية، وأتاح تدريسها في المناطق المعنية، وكرّس ضمانات للحماية من التمييز — خطوة تحولية نحو تحقيق المساواة وتعزيز الشعور بالانتماء.

وأفاد المبعوث الأمريكي بأن هذه الإجراءات تسهم في تصحيح مظالم تاريخية طال أمدها، وتؤكد المكانة الأصيلة للأكراد ضمن النسيج الوطني السوري، وتفتح آفاق مشاركتهم الكاملة في صياغة مستقبل آمن ومزدهر وشامل للجميع.

The American envoy to Syria, Tom Brack, described the comprehensive agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) as a significant and deeply meaningful milestone in Syria’s path toward national reconciliation, unity, and sustainable stability.

Brack affirmed in a statement on the platform “X” today (Friday) that the agreement, which resulted from meticulous negotiations and based on previous frameworks and recent efforts to de-escalate, reflects a shared commitment to the principles of inclusivity, mutual respect, and the preservation of the collective dignity of all components of Syrian society.

He pointed out that the agreement embodies the Syrian government’s commitment to a genuine national partnership and an inclusive governance approach that does not exclude anyone.

Brack stated: By facilitating the phased integration of military, security, and administrative structures within the unified state institutions, while ensuring opportunities for prominent representatives of the Syrian Democratic Forces to contribute at high leadership levels, the agreement confirms that Syria’s strength lies in embracing its diversity and responding to the legitimate aspirations of all its citizens.

He considered that this approach not only contributes to consolidating sovereignty over all territories but also sends a clear message to the international community about openness and justice.

Regarding the Kurdish people, whose exceptional sacrifices and steadfastness played a pivotal role in defending Syria against extremism and protecting the most vulnerable groups, Brack said: This moment holds special significance, and the recent implementation of Presidential Decree No. (13) — which restored full Syrian citizenship to those previously harmed by historical exclusion policies, recognized the Kurdish language as a national language alongside Arabic, allowed its teaching in the relevant areas, and established guarantees against discrimination — is a transformative step toward achieving equality and enhancing the sense of belonging.

The American envoy stated that these measures contribute to correcting long-standing historical grievances, affirm the rightful status of Kurds within the Syrian national fabric, and open avenues for their full participation in shaping a secure, prosperous, and inclusive future for all.
