لا شك في أن كل مواطن ومواطنة في السعودية يشعرون ويلمسون بأنهم اليوم ليسوا كما كانوا قبل عام، أو 5 أو 10 أعوام. ويشعرون ويلمسون أن المملكة اليوم ليست المملكة التي عهدوها قبل أعوام. فقد أضحت ثمرات رؤية 2030 دانية القطوف، في كل مجال من مجالات الحياة. ولعلها أكثر ظهوراً وتحققاً في مجالات السياحة، وما يلتصق بها من الضيافة، والسفر. فقد صارت المملكة قبلة للسياح الأجانب. وأضحى السعوديون أنفسهم راغبين ومستمتعين بتمضية «صيفيتهم» و«شتويتهم» داخل بلادهم، من دون حاجة لتكبّد مشاق السفر للخارج. وكان طبيعياً أن تعمل الدولة السعودية على أكثر من مسار في وقت واحد. ففيما تعكف على تطوير أماكن الجذب السياحي، تنشط في تشجيع بناء الفنادق ونُزُل الضيافة في كل مكان في المملكة. وهذه النجاحات الكبيرة والقياسية ليست سوى تمهيد لأيام قادمة يتوقع أن تمتلئ فيها مدن المملكة ومقاصدها السياحية بالسياح، وأهمها استضافة الرياض لمعرض اكسبو العالمي في 2030، واستضافتها لفعاليات مونديال 2034، بينما تستمر المناسبات الراتبة في استقطاب الخبراء والزعماء والمتخصصين ورجال المال والأعمال. كل ذلك تحقق بفضل الله، ثم متابعة القيادة الرشيدة لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، الذي يصل الليل بالنهار متابعاً المشاريع العملاقة التي يجتهد السعوديون لإنجازها قبل حلول عام 2030. ولم يكن انعكاس ما تحقق في مجال السياحة والضيافة مقتصراً على تشييد الفنادق، وتجهيز المواقع التراثية السياحية لزائريها؛ بل أدى نهوض قطاع الضيافة والسياحة إلى توفير أكثر من 250 ألف فرصة عمل. وأظهرت الإنجازات القدرات الحقيقية الهائلة للقطاع الخاص السعودي في الشراكة الرائعة مع الدولة. فقد نجحت رؤية 2030، التي يقف وراءها ولي العهد، في خفض اعتماد الدولة على مداخيل النفط من 90% قبل 10 أعوام إلى 68% في الوقت الحالي. وعلينا بذل مزيد من الجهود لمواكبة طموح قيادتنا الرشيدة ليبلغ وطننا الحبيب أعلى مراقي التطور، والتحديث.

There is no doubt that every citizen in Saudi Arabia feels and perceives that they are today not as they were a year, 5, or 10 years ago. They feel and perceive that the Kingdom today is not the Kingdom they knew years ago. The fruits of Vision 2030 have become ripe and accessible in every aspect of life. Perhaps it is most evident and realized in the fields of tourism, along with hospitality and travel. The Kingdom has become a destination for foreign tourists. Saudis themselves have become eager and enjoy spending their “summers” and “winters” within their own country, without the need to endure the hardships of traveling abroad. It was natural for the Saudi state to work on more than one path simultaneously. While it is focused on developing tourist attractions, it is also active in encouraging the construction of hotels and hospitality lodges everywhere in the Kingdom. These significant and record-breaking successes are merely a prelude to the coming days, which are expected to be filled with tourists in the cities and tourist destinations of the Kingdom, most notably the hosting of Riyadh for the World Expo in 2030, and its hosting of the events of the 2034 World Cup, while regular events continue to attract experts, leaders, specialists, and businesspeople. All of this has been achieved thanks to God, and then the follow-up of the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who tirelessly follows up on the giant projects that Saudis are striving to complete before the year 2030. The reflection of what has been achieved in the field of tourism and hospitality is not limited to the construction of hotels and the preparation of heritage sites for their visitors; rather, the rise of the hospitality and tourism sector has led to the provision of more than 250,000 job opportunities. The achievements have demonstrated the immense true capabilities of the Saudi private sector in a wonderful partnership with the state. Vision 2030, which is backed by the Crown Prince, has succeeded in reducing the state’s dependence on oil revenues from 90% a decade ago to 68% currently. We must exert more efforts to keep pace with the ambitions of our wise leadership so that our beloved nation reaches the highest levels of development and modernization.
