محمية الملك سلمان تُبرز تراث السدو وجهود حماية الحياة الفطرية – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

تشارك هيئة تطوير محمية الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز الملكية في النسخة الحالية من مهرجان الصقور بمنطقة الحدود الشمالية، المقام في محافظة طريف خلال الفترة من 29 يناير حتى 2 فبراير، وذلك ضمن جهودها في تعزيز الوعي البيئي وإبراز الموروث الثقافي للمجتمعات المحلية.

وتقدّم الهيئة عبر جناحها في المهرجان عرضاً حياً لحرفة السدو؛ باعتبارها إحدى الحرف التراثية العريقة التي تعكس أصالة الثقافة المحلية داخل نطاق المحمية. وتهدف هذه المشاركة إلى تمكين الأسر المنتجة والحرفيين من إبراز أعمالهم التي تمزج بين الهوية الوطنية والتراث الحي، بما يسهم في حفظ هذا الإرث من الاندثار وتنميته.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة ضمن إستراتيجية الهيئة لتعزيز التواصل مع المجتمع المحلي والصقارين، والتعريف بالفرص السياحية والكنوز الطبيعية والأثرية التي تزخر بها المحمية، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في حماية البيئة واستدامتها.

The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority is participating in the current edition of the Falcon Festival in the Northern Borders region, held in the city of Turaif from January 29 to February 2, as part of its efforts to enhance environmental awareness and highlight the cultural heritage of local communities.

The authority is showcasing a live demonstration of the art of Sadu weaving at its pavilion in the festival, as it is one of the ancient traditional crafts that reflect the authenticity of local culture within the reserve. This participation aims to empower productive families and artisans to showcase their work that blends national identity with living heritage, contributing to the preservation and development of this legacy from extinction.

This participation is part of the authority’s strategy to strengthen communication with the local community and falconers, and to introduce the tourism opportunities and natural and archaeological treasures that the reserve is rich in, aligning with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in protecting and sustaining the environment.
