تتردد في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية أنباء عن احتمالية تحول حلم السفر إلى الفضاء إلى تجربة فاخرة حقيقية بحلول عام 2032، مع إعلان شركة GRU Space الأمريكية خططها لإنشاء أول فندق على سطح القمر، ليصبح بذلك أبرز عروض السياحة الفضائية الفاخرة في التاريخ.

ويُطلب من الراغبين بالحجز دفع عربون يبدأ من مليون دولار، ما يجعل هذه الإقامة خارج مدار الأرض تجربة حصرية لا يمكن تصورها إلا في أفلام الخيال العلمي.

وسيعتمد الفندق على وحدات سكنية قابلة للنفخ تُصنع على الأرض، مع نظام آلي يحوّل تربة القمر إلى مواد بناء تشبه الطوب لتشييد الهيكل الخارجي. هذا الابتكار يسمح بتقليل نقل مواد البناء الثقيلة من الأرض، وهي إحدى أكبر التحديات التي تواجه مشاريع الفضاء.

ومن المقرر أن تستقبل المرحلة الأولى المسافرين الذين سبق لهم تجربة رحلات الفضاء التجارية، إضافة إلى الباحثين عن عطلة فريدة من نوعها، لتقديم تجربة سياحية تجمع بين الإقامة طويلة المدى والخروج عن مدار الأرض، في ما يعد فئة جديدة من السياحة الفاخرة خارج كوكب الأرض.

وقالت الشركة إنها تخطط لإجراء اختبارات أولية على القمر بحلول 2029، بالتعاون مع وكالة ناسا، عبر نشر هيكل صغير قابل للنفخ لتقييم المواد وتحمل الظروف القاسية. وفي حال نجاح الاختبارات، سيتم بناء هيكل أكبر داخل حفرة قمرية مستقرة لضمان سلامة النزلاء وتطوير البنية التحتية.

ومن المتوقع أن يستقبل الفندق أربعة ضيوف فقط في البداية، مع خطط لتوسيع الطاقة الاستيعابية تدريجيًا مع تقدم التكنولوجيا واللوجستيات الفضائية.

وقال سكايلي تشان، مؤسس الشركة: «إذا نجح المشروع، سيفتح المجال لتجارب فندقية على القمر والمريخ، وسيتمكن الناس من تجربة روعة الحياة في الفضاء لأول مرة بشكل حقيقي».

مع هذا المشروع، تقترب البشرية خطوة أخرى من تحويل الخيال العلمي إلى واقع فاخر يمكن للإنسان دفع ملايين الدولارات من أجله، لتصبح الإقامة على سطح القمر ليست مجرد حلم، بل تجربة فاخرة قابلة للحجز بالفعل.

The hotel will rely on inflatable living units manufactured on Earth, with an automated system that transforms lunar soil into building materials resembling bricks to construct the outer structure. This innovation allows for a reduction in the transportation of heavy building materials from Earth, which is one of the biggest challenges facing space projects.

The first phase is set to welcome travelers who have previously experienced commercial space flights, in addition to those seeking a unique vacation, offering a tourism experience that combines long-term stays and leaving Earth’s orbit, in what is considered a new category of luxury tourism beyond our planet.

The company stated that it plans to conduct preliminary tests on the moon by 2029, in collaboration with NASA, by deploying a small inflatable structure to assess the materials and withstand harsh conditions. If the tests are successful, a larger structure will be built inside a stable lunar crater to ensure the safety of guests and develop the infrastructure.

The hotel is expected to accommodate only four guests initially, with plans to gradually expand capacity as space technology and logistics advance.

Skyly Chan, the founder of the company, said: “If the project succeeds, it will open the door to hotel experiences on the moon and Mars, and people will be able to experience the wonder of life in space for the first time in a real way.”
