موسم الصيد يُختَتَم بنجاح… والمملكة تحصد جائزة دولية للريادة البيئية – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو
أعلن المركز الوطني لتنمية الحياة الفطرية انتهاء موسم الصيد في المملكة لعام 2025–2026 بنهاية 31 يناير 2026من الموافق 12 شعبان 1447هـ.
وشهد الموسم، الذي انطلق مطلع سبتمبر الماضي، نجاحًا لافتًا انعكس في تطوير آليات التنظيم وتحديثها بما يضمن الاستخدام المستدام للموارد الطبيعية، وفق اللوائح المنبثقة من نظام البيئة، وبمشاركة خبراء مختصين، واستنادًا إلى أبحاث وبيانات ومعايير عالمية، إضافة إلى تقييم تجارب المواسم السابقة والالتزامات الدولية للمملكة، وسجّل ارتفاعًا ملحوظًا في الوعي البيئي والتزام الصيادين بالأنظمة والتعليمات.
وأوضح الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الدكتور محمد علي قربان، أن موسم الصيد 2025–2026م، وتطوير تنظيم الصيد جاء بناءً على البيانات والتقييم المستمر، وأسهم في رفع مستوى الالتزام والوعي البيئي، وترسيخ مفهوم الصيد المنظم بوصفه أداة داعمة للمحافظة على النظم البيئية وتعزيز استدامتها.
وبيّن قربان أن تجربة المملكة في تنظيم الصيد تحظى بتقدير دولي، تُوّج بحصول المملكة ممثلة بالمركز الوطني لتنمية الحياة الفطرية على جائزة الريادة للأنواع المهاجرة، تقديرًا لجهودها في معالجة الصيد غير النظامي ومكافحة الاتجار غير المشروع، ودورها في الحد من الصيد غير القانوني للطيور في جنوب غرب آسيا.
The National Center for Wildlife Development announced the end of the hunting season in the Kingdom for 2025–2026 on January 31, 2026, corresponding to the 12th of Sha’ban 1447 AH.
The season, which began at the start of last September, witnessed remarkable success reflected in the development and updating of regulatory mechanisms to ensure the sustainable use of natural resources, in accordance with the regulations derived from the Environmental System, with the participation of specialized experts, and based on research, data, and global standards, in addition to evaluating the experiences of previous seasons and the Kingdom’s international commitments. It recorded a significant increase in environmental awareness and the commitment of hunters to the regulations and instructions.
The CEO of the center, Dr. Mohammed Ali Qurban, explained that the 2025–2026 hunting season and the development of hunting regulations were based on continuous data and evaluation, contributing to raising the level of commitment and environmental awareness, and reinforcing the concept of organized hunting as a supportive tool for preserving ecosystems and enhancing their sustainability.
Qurban indicated that the Kingdom’s experience in regulating hunting is internationally recognized, culminating in the Kingdom, represented by the National Center for Wildlife Development, receiving the Leadership Award for Migratory Species, in recognition of its efforts in addressing unregulated hunting and combating illegal trafficking, and its role in reducing illegal hunting of birds in South West Asia.
