لم تنتهِ مأساة ليلة رأس السنة في جبال الألب السويسرية عند إخماد النيران، إذ أعلنت الجهة الاتحادية السويسرية للحماية المدنية أن تداعيات الحادثة ما زالت تتصاعد، مع قرار نقل عشرات المصابين إلى خارج البلاد لتلقي علاج متخصص.

وبحسب البيان الرسمي، فإن نحو نصف المصابين البالغ عددهم 119 شخصاً في حريق منتجع كرانس مونتانا سيُعالجون في مستشفيات أجنبية، بعد تقييم خطورة إصاباتهم. وأكدت السلطات أن 15 مصاباً سيُنقلون اعتباراً من غدٍ (الأحد) إلى مرافق طبية في فرنسا وإيطاليا وألمانيا وبلجيكا، في خطوة تهدف إلى تخفيف الضغط على المستشفيات السويسرية وتوفير رعاية فائقة للحالات الحرجة.

الحادثة التي هزت سويسرا وقعت داخل حانة في منتجع التزلج الشهير، حيث تحولت احتفالات رأس السنة إلى كارثة دامية أودت بحياة 40 شخصاً معظمهم من الشباب، بعد اندلاع حريق سريع الانتشار وسط المكان المكتظ.

وأشارت التحقيقات الأولية إلى أن النيران اشتعلت إثر احتراق مواد عزل في سقف الحانة، بعد استخدام ألعاب نارية مثبتة على زجاجات الشمبانيا، في تقليد احتفالي تحول إلى شرارة مأساوية. وأفادت التقارير بأن غالبية الضحايا كانوا من المراهقين والشباب في مقتبل العمر.

من جهتها، أوضحت رئيسة مركز الحروق في مستشفى زيورخ للأطفال كاترين نويهاوس في تصريحات إعلامية أن 5 قُصّر يتلقون العلاج حالياً، مؤكدة أن بعضهم يعاني من حروق تتجاوز 70% من مساحة أجسامهم، ما يتطلب متابعة طبية دقيقة وعلاجاً طويل الأمد.

ومع استمرار التحقيقات، تعيش سويسرا واحدة من أكثر الحوادث المأساوية في تاريخ منتجعاتها الشتوية، وسط مطالبات بتشديد إجراءات السلامة خلال الفعاليات الاحتفالية.

According to the official statement, about half of the injured, totaling 119 people in the Crans-Montana resort fire, will be treated in foreign hospitals after assessing the severity of their injuries. Authorities confirmed that 15 injured individuals will be transferred starting tomorrow (Sunday) to medical facilities in France, Italy, Germany, and Belgium, in a move aimed at alleviating pressure on Swiss hospitals and providing superior care for critical cases.

The incident that shook Switzerland occurred inside a bar at the famous ski resort, where New Year celebrations turned into a bloody disaster that claimed the lives of 40 people, most of whom were young, after a rapidly spreading fire broke out in the crowded venue.

Initial investigations indicated that the fire ignited due to the burning of insulation materials in the bar’s ceiling, following the use of fireworks attached to champagne bottles, in a celebratory tradition that turned into a tragic spark. Reports stated that the majority of the victims were teenagers and young adults.

For her part, Catherine Neuhaus, the head of the burn center at Zurich Children’s Hospital, explained in media statements that 5 minors are currently receiving treatment, confirming that some of them suffer from burns covering more than 70% of their body surface, which requires careful medical follow-up and long-term treatment.

As investigations continue, Switzerland is experiencing one of the most tragic incidents in the history of its winter resorts, amid calls for stricter safety measures during celebratory events.
