أعلنت وزيرة الاندماج النمساوية كلاوديا بلاكولم أمس (الخميس)، مشروع قانون جديد يهدف إلى منع الفتيات دون الـ 14 من ارتداء الحجاب الإسلامي في المدارس، اعتبارًا من العام الدراسي القادم.
وقالت الوزيرة إن القانون سيعرض قريبًا على البرلمان، مشيرة إلى زيادة أعداد الفتيات المسلمات في المدارس من 3000 إلى 12 ألفًا، ما دفع الحكومة إلى إعادة طرح الحظر بعد أن رفضت المحكمة العليا محاولة مماثلة عام 2019.
وينص مشروع القانون على أن المدرسين سيخاطبون أولياء الأمور في البداية عند مخالفة الفتيات، مع فرض غرامات تصل إلى 800 يورو عند تكرار المخالفة.
وأثار هذا القرار انتقادات من الجالية الإسلامية في النمسا، التي رأت أن الهدف من الحظر سياسي أكثر من كونه حماية للأطفال، محذرة من أن القانون قد يغذي مشاعر معاداة الإسلام داخل المجتمع.

The Austrian Minister for Integration, Claudia Plakolm, announced yesterday (Thursday) a new bill aimed at preventing girls under the age of 14 from wearing Islamic hijabs in schools, starting from the next academic year.
The minister stated that the law will soon be presented to parliament, noting the increase in the number of Muslim girls in schools from 3,000 to 12,000, which prompted the government to reintroduce the ban after the Supreme Court rejected a similar attempt in 2019.
The bill stipulates that teachers will initially address parents when girls violate the rule, with fines of up to 800 euros imposed for repeated violations.
This decision has sparked criticism from the Islamic community in Austria, which believes that the aim of the ban is more political than protective of children, warning that the law could fuel anti-Islam sentiments within society.
