نفت الكاتبة السعودية بدرية البشر مشاركة زوجها الفنان ناصر القصبي في الجزء الثاني من مسلسل شارع الأعشى، مؤكدة بأنها لم تكتب مسلسلاً له حتى هذه اللحظة.
وأشارت إلى أن قرار إنتاج جزء جديد من شارع الأعشى تم نتيجة للنجاح الكبير الذي حققه الجزء الأول، رغم أنّ الرواية الأصلية صيغت في كتاب واحد.
وأضافت: حب الجمهور للعمل، ورغبته في رؤية امتداد لقصته، دفعنا للتفكير في جزء ثانٍ، لافتة إلى أن الموسم الجديد سيحافظ على الحقبة الزمنية نفسها، لكنه سيشهد أحداثا جديدة، وشخصيات لم تظهر من قبل.
ورفضت البشر الإجابة عن سؤال حول إمكانية تحويل روايات أخرى من أعمالها الأدبية إلى دراما تلفزيونية، وقالت: كل تركيزي ينصب حالياً على الموسم الجديد من المسلسل.
وتدور أحداث المسلسل في منتصف السبعينيات من القرن الماضي داخل حارة شعبية يُطلق عليها اسم «الأعشى»، من خلال قصة الشقيقتين «عزيزة» و«عواطف» اللتين تعيشان حياة الحب والطموح والتمرد في ظل مجتمع محافظ.
The Saudi writer Badriya Al-Bishr denied that her husband, the artist Nasser Al-Qasabi, participated in the second season of the series “Al-A’shi Street,” confirming that she has not written a series for him until this moment.
She pointed out that the decision to produce a new season of “Al-A’shi Street” came as a result of the great success achieved by the first season, even though the original story was formulated in a single book.
She added: The audience’s love for the work and their desire to see an extension of its story prompted us to think about a second season, noting that the new season will maintain the same time period but will feature new events and characters that have not appeared before.
Al-Bishr refused to answer a question about the possibility of adapting other novels from her literary works into television drama, saying: My entire focus is currently on the new season of the series.
The events of the series take place in the mid-1970s in a popular neighborhood called “Al-A’shi,” through the story of the two sisters “Aziza” and “Awatif,” who live a life of love, ambition, and rebellion in a conservative society.
