«هيئة التأمين»: نمو سوق التأمين تجاوز 17% في 2024 – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

قال رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة التأمين عبدالعزيز البوق: «إن حجم سوق التأمين السعودي حقق نمواً بنسبة تتجاوز 17% في عام 2024، فيما ارتفع عمق التأمين ليصل إلى 2.6%، ليتفوق في وتيرة نموه على متوسط نمو قطاع التأمين في مجموعة العشرين».

وأوضح البوق في كلمته ضمن مؤتمر التأمين العالمي (Ingate)، أن السعودية تستهدف مضاعفة حجم أقساط التأمين بحلول عام 2030.

وذكر أن الهيئة واصلت تطوير البيئة التشريعية والتنظيمية لجعل السوق السعودي أكثر جاذبية واستدامة، حيث أطلقت مشروع نظام التأمين الجديد للاستطلاع العام، والبيئة التشريعية التجريبية، لدعم الشركات الناشئة وتمكين الحلول التأمينية المبتكرة.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Authority, Abdulaziz Al-Buq, stated: “The size of the Saudi insurance market has achieved a growth rate exceeding 17% in 2024, while the insurance depth has risen to 2.6%, surpassing the growth rate of the insurance sector in the G20 average.”

Al-Buq explained in his speech at the Global Insurance Conference (Ingate) that Saudi Arabia aims to double the size of insurance premiums by 2030.

He mentioned that the authority continues to develop the legislative and regulatory environment to make the Saudi market more attractive and sustainable, as it launched the new insurance system project for public consultation and the experimental legislative environment to support startups and enable innovative insurance solutions.
