النرويج: تعليق مؤقت للقواعد الأخلاقية لـ«الثروة السيادي» – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو
علّقت النرويج العمل مؤقتاً بالقواعد الأخلاقية التي تنظّم استثمارات صندوقها السيادي، في خطوة تهدف إلى تجنّب بيع حصصه في شركات التكنولوجيا الأمريكية الكبرى.
وصوّت البرلمان في جلسة انعقدت اليوم لصالح القرار، الذي اعتمدت حكومة حزب العمال في تمريره على دعم أحزاب المعارضة المحافظة.
ويسمح تعليق القواعد الأخلاقية للصندوق بالاحتفاظ بحصصه في شركات كبرى مثل «مايكروسوفت» و«أمازون» وغيرها، بعد أن كانت تلزمه بالتخارج منها.
بيع قسري
وقال وزير المالية النرويجي ينس ستولتنبرج، في تصريحات لصحيفة «فايننشال تايمز»: «إن القرار جاء لتجنّب بيع قسري قد يضر بمكانة أكبر صندوق ثروة سيادي في العالم وبمبدأ تنويع استثماراته».
وأضاف: «القواعد الحالية كانت لتؤدي إلى قرارات من مجلس الأخلاقيات المستقل تطالب بالتخارج من شركات كبرى، وهو ما يُضعف الغرض الأساسي من الصندوق باعتباره أداة استثمار عالمية واسعة التنويع».
Norway has temporarily suspended the ethical rules governing its sovereign wealth fund’s investments, in a move aimed at avoiding the sale of its stakes in major American technology companies.
The parliament voted in favor of the decision during a session held today, which the Labour Party government passed with the support of conservative opposition parties.
The suspension of the fund’s ethical rules allows it to retain its stakes in major companies such as “Microsoft” and “Amazon,” after previously being required to divest from them.
Forced Sale
Norwegian Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg stated in remarks to the “Financial Times”: “The decision was made to avoid a forced sale that could harm the position of the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund and the principle of diversifying its investments.”
He added: “The current rules would have led to decisions from the independent ethics council demanding divestment from major companies, which undermines the primary purpose of the fund as a broadly diversified global investment tool.”
