خالد اليوسف يترجم لـ 1544 أديباً طيلة 150 عاماً – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

أصدر الكاتب خالد بن أحمد اليوسف أحدث إصداراته (معجم الأدباء السعوديين) الذي ترجم فيه لـ 1544 أديباً طيلة 150 عاماً، وعرّف بمن لهم نتاج مطبوع في مجالات الإبداع الأدبي، أو ناشر في الوسائط المقروءة، ممن ليس لهم نتاج مطبوع، ومن درس أو كتب أو أرخ للأدب السعودي. وترجم اليوسف لكل الأدباء السعوديين الذين شهدوا وعاشوا البدايات في بلادنا.

وأوضح اليوسف أنه تم تكليفه في عام 1992، بتطوير كتاب: دليل الكاتب السعودي، وعقب ثلاثة أعوام، صدر كتابه: (دليل الكتاب والكاتبات)، كما أصدر كتاب أنطولوجيا القصة القصيرة في المملكة، وإثر اطلاعه على عشرات الكتب التي صدرت في هذا المجال، رأى ضرورة أن يضع معجماً شاملا لكل الأدباء السعوديين، عوضاً عن معجم خاص بأدباء منطقة واحدة، وربما كان فيه من المجاملة وعدم التوازن في الترجمة، أو الإهمال لبعض الشخصيات، أو معجم متخصص في مجال أدبي معين، فآثر أن يبدأ العمل في المعجم منذ عام 2014، مشيراً إلى أنه انطلق من منهجية علمية ليكون متوازناً، منصفاً، لا يحمل أي كلمة إطراء أو مدح أو ثناء، ولا تفاضل فيه ورفع شخصية دون شخصية أخرى، فالكل في مرتبة الأدب سواء، لافتاً إلى أنه تم ترتيبه هجائياً باسم العائلة الأصلي، وباسم الشهرة، وفرض على كل شخصية؛ تزويده بالاسم الرباعي، واسم الشهرة، ومكان الميلاد وتاريخه، وآخر مؤهل دراسي؛ إن رغب الأديب، وتخصصه ومن أي جامعة وتاريخ التخرج، ووصف الأديب وصفاته الأدبية وبعض نشاطه البارز في حدود أربعة أسطر، وإيراد ستة كتب من مؤلفاته لمن تزيد عن ذلك مع ذكر نوعها وتاريخ الصدور، بحيث لا تتجاوز الكلمات لكل شخصية 70 كلمة.
وعن أبرز معاناة مر بها المعجم؛ كشف اليوسف صدور مؤلفات لمئات الأدباء، ولا سيرة ذاتية لهم في كتبهم أو في أي جهة مرجعية، ما أرهقه في البحث عنهم، والتواصل معهم، أو مع معلوماتهم الغائبة، فقرر جمع المعلومات واحدة واحدة وتدوينها لتكوين سيرهم الكاملة، مؤكداً أنه تعرّض للتثبيط والإحباط من لفئة قليلة، والانتقاص من أهمية المعجم. وأضاف أن المعجم الصادر عن مؤسسة الانتشار العربي في بيروت والشارقة 2025 في 720 صفحة، يضم مقدمة تفصيلية، فيها جميع المعلومات المتعلقة بمحتواه، وتاريخ كتب التراجم والسير، ومسيرته معه، ثم كشاف الأسماء للأدباء والأديبات، بالرقم التسلسلي لكي يتم الوصول إليه بيسر وسهولة، ثم السير والتراجم، ثم المراجع والمصادر. ولفت إلى أنه لم يترك كتابًا أدبيًا سعوديًا إلا ورجع إليه، والصحافة بكل أنواعها، بخلاف الاتصال المباشر مع الأدباء.

Writer Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Yousef has released his latest publication, (Dictionary of Saudi Writers), in which he translated the works of 1,544 writers over a span of 150 years, introducing those who have published in the fields of literary creativity, or those who have published in readable media, as well as those who do not have published works, and those who studied, wrote, or chronicled Saudi literature. Al-Yousef translated for all Saudi writers who witnessed and lived through the beginnings in our country.

Al-Yousef explained that he was commissioned in 1992 to develop a book: Guide to Saudi Writers, and after three years, his book: (Guide to Male and Female Writers) was published. He also published a book on the anthology of short stories in the Kingdom, and after reviewing dozens of books published in this field, he saw the necessity of creating a comprehensive dictionary for all Saudi writers, rather than a dictionary specific to writers from one region, which might contain elements of flattery and imbalance in translation, or neglect some personalities, or be specialized in a certain literary field. Therefore, he preferred to start working on the dictionary in 2014, indicating that he began with a scientific methodology to ensure it was balanced and fair, without any words of praise or commendation, and without elevating one personality over another; all are equal in the realm of literature. He noted that it was organized alphabetically by the original family name and by the pen name, and he required each personality to provide their full name, pen name, place and date of birth, last academic qualification if the writer wished, their specialization, the university attended, graduation date, a description of the writer and their literary qualities, and some of their prominent activities within four lines, as well as listing six of their published works for those with more, including the type and publication date, ensuring that the words for each personality do not exceed 70 words.
Regarding the most significant challenges faced by the dictionary, Al-Yousef revealed the publication of works by hundreds of writers, with no biographies available in their books or in any reference sources, which made it difficult for him to research and communicate with them or gather their missing information. He decided to collect the information one by one and document it to form their complete biographies, affirming that he faced discouragement and frustration from a small group, who belittled the importance of the dictionary. He added that the dictionary, published by the Arab Dissemination Foundation in Beirut and Sharjah in 2025, spans 720 pages and includes a detailed introduction containing all the information related to its content, the history of biographical and narrative books, and his journey with it, followed by an index of names of male and female writers, organized by serial number for easy access, then the biographies and translations, and finally the references and sources. He pointed out that he did not leave any Saudi literary book without referring to it, as well as the press in all its forms, in addition to direct communication with the writers.
