«طريف» تدخل في سباق «الموجة الثلجية العالمية» بـ«صفر مئوية» – أخبار السعودية – كورا نيو

مع الموجة الثلجية والعواصف الجليدية التي تضرب أجزاء واسعة من العالم دخلت محافظة طريف بمنطقة الحدود الشمالية، أمس، في مقاييس الصفر وسجلت صفر درجة مئوية، وهي أقل درجة حرارة على مستوى مدن السعودية ومحافظاتها، بحسب تقرير المركز الوطني للأرصاد.

وكان المركز نبّه من موجة باردة على منطقة الحدود الشمالية، تشمل تأثيراتها انخفاضًا في درجات الحرارة؛ ما يستدعي اتخاذ الاحتياطات اللازمة لمواجهة تداعيات الأجواء الباردة.

وكان «الأرصاد» توقع في تقريره اليومي هطول أمطار رعدية وسيول جارية مصحوبة بزخات من البرد على أجزاء من مناطق القصيم، والحدود الشمالية، والشرقية والأجزاء الشمالية من منطقة الرياض، كما توالت درجات الحرارة انخفاضها مصحوبة برياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار تؤدي إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، وأجزاء من منطقتي تبوك والمدينة المنورة خاصة السواحل منها، في حين تكون الفرصة مهيأة لتكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة مسبوقة برياح نشطة تحد من مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من المناطق الغربية والجنوبية الغربية للمملكة.

With the snow wave and ice storms hitting large parts of the world, the city of Turaif in the Northern Borders region recorded zero degrees Celsius yesterday, marking the lowest temperature among Saudi cities and provinces, according to a report from the National Center of Meteorology.

The center had warned of a cold wave in the Northern Borders region, which would lead to a drop in temperatures, necessitating the taking of necessary precautions to face the consequences of the cold weather.

The “Meteorology” center predicted in its daily report the occurrence of thunderstorm rains and flowing floods accompanied by hail showers in parts of the Qassim, Northern Borders, Eastern regions, and the northern parts of the Riyadh region. Additionally, temperatures continued to drop, accompanied by active winds that stirred up dust and sand, leading to almost zero visibility in parts of those areas, as well as parts of the Tabuk and Medina regions, especially along the coasts. Meanwhile, there is a chance for the formation of thunderstorm clouds that bring rain, preceded by active winds that limit horizontal visibility in parts of the western and southwestern regions of the Kingdom.
