أعلن مجلس خبراء القيادة الإيراني اليوم (الأحد)، تعيين مجتبى خامنئي مرشداً للبلاد خلفاً لوالده علي خامنئي الذي قتل في غارة أمريكية إسرائيلية قبل أسبوع.

وذكرت وكالة تسنيم الإيرانية أن مجلس الخبراء أقر مجتبى خامنئي مرشدا لإيران.

يعدّ مجتبى حسيني خامنئي من أكثر الشخصيات غموضاً داخل هرم السلطة في إيران، على خلاف والده، خصوصاً وأنه حافظ إلى حد كبير على حضور محدود في الحياة العامة، ولم يتولَّ أي منصب حكومي، ولم يعرف بإلقاء خطابات علنية أو إجراء مقابلات إعلامية.

ولد مجتبى حسيني خامنئي في 8 سبتمبر 1969 في مدينة مشهد شمال شرق إيران، وهو الابن الثاني للمرشد الأعلى لإيران علي خامنئي وأحد أبنائه الستة، تلقى مجتبى تعليمه الثانوي في مدرسة العلوي الدينية في طهران، وفي عام 1999 انتقل إلى مدينة قم، لمواصلة دراساته الدينية في الحوزة العلمية. ولم يرتدِ الزي الديني إلا في تلك المرحلة، كما أن التحاقه بالحوزة في سن الثلاثين.

ولم يبرز بوصفه مرجعاً دينياً بارزاً داخل المؤسسة الحوزوية، ولا يزال يصنف عادة ضمن رجال الدين في مرتبة متوسطة.

The Iranian Assembly of Experts announced today (Sunday) the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as the leader of the country, succeeding his father Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a US-Israeli raid a week ago.

The Tasnim news agency reported that the Assembly of Experts approved Mojtaba Khamenei as the leader of Iran.

Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei is considered one of the most enigmatic figures within the power hierarchy in Iran, unlike his father, especially since he has largely maintained a limited presence in public life, has not held any government position, and is not known for giving public speeches or conducting media interviews.

Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei was born on September 8, 1969, in the city of Mashhad in northeastern Iran. He is the second son of the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, and one of his six children. Mojtaba received his secondary education at the Alavi religious school in Tehran, and in 1999, he moved to the city of Qom to continue his religious studies at the seminary. He only wore religious attire at that stage and joined the seminary at the age of thirty.

He has not emerged as a prominent religious authority within the seminary institution and is still typically classified among clerics at a middle rank.
